Jinjiang College of Sichuan University is a full-time independent college with high-quality educational resources founded by Sichuan University, a key university directly under the Ministry of Education. The college is located in Pengshan, Sichuan, with convenient transportation and elegant environment. It is about 35 minutes' drive from Chengdu and only 10 minutes' drive from the opening of Chengdu-Mianyang-Leshan Intercity Railway. The campus covers an area of 700 mu with a planned construction area of 380,000 square meters. It has a modern teaching building, laboratory building, library, academic lecture hall, sports venues and living service facilities, with lush vegetation, elegant environment and rich humanistic atmosphere. The college now has 9 departments and 23 undergraduate majors, covering arts, science, engineering, economics, management, art and other disciplines, with a four-year academic system. In 2008, it enrolled students in 28 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government).
