German National Music Archives (Berlin)

The whole German library consists of three libraries located in different regions.

The different functions of the three libraries

Leipzig National Library: mainly responsible for the protection and collection of precious books.

Frankfurt National Library: responsible for the improvement and editing of the online bibliography (OPAC) of the entire German library, the research and development and promotion of library technology, and the construction and leadership of German libraries. In addition, the Frankfurt National Library also provides national bibliographic services.

Berlin German National Music Archives: mainly responsible for the collection, editing and protection of audio-visual products and the production of bibliographies.
