In 2000, the new library was built and officially opened to the public. 200 1 became a branch of Shanghai Central Library, and 20 10 was renamed Nanhui Branch of Pudong Library. The building covers a building area of more than 5,000 square meters, with six service windows, including service desk, Chinese books and periodicals lending office, comprehensive reading room, reading guidance base for teenagers, electronic reading room and reference room. * * * It has more than 500 reading seats and a multifunctional education and training hall that can accommodate 160 people. Nanhui Branch of Pudong Library is open 73 hours a week every day. The lending department of Chinese books and periodicals carries out open-shelf lending, receiving an average of 654.38 million readers and 300,000 books in circulation.
