A Brief Introduction to the Author of The Book Thief
Marcus Zusack was born in Sydney from 65438 to 0975. At the age of 30, he has become a writer with the most awards, the richest works and the widest readership in contemporary Australian literature. Up to now, it has been published: Reservoir Dogs, Ruben Wolf in Battle (American Library Association's best book for teenagers), Getting the Girl, and I am the Messenger (Australian Children's Book Association's Best Book Award of the Year).

The story of "The Book Thief" originated from the plot told by my parents when I was a child. During World War II, his parents witnessed the tragic situation after the Allied bombing of Hamburg, and also saw the tragedy of the Nazis escorting Jews to death camps. Susak said that he had always kept the stories told by his parents in mind, and he knew that one day he would write them into the book.

With the publication of The Book Thief, he was called a "literary phenomenon" by Australian and American critics.
