This book is a book about super memory written by Dr. Lv Chao, the holder of Guinness PI memory in the world today, and Dr. Hu Yi, School of Psychology and Cognitive Science, East China Normal University.
On June 20th, 2005, with amazing perseverance, Dr. Lv Chao spent 24 hours and 4 minutes reciting Pi to the 67890th place after the decimal point without any mistakes, and successfully set a new Guinness World Record, which has been maintained to this day. Dr Lv Chao didn't show this extraordinary memory when he was a child, even before he went to college. After further laboratory research, he is indeed an ordinary person, and the short-term memory span of numbers is within the range of normal people, that is, about 8 chunks. However, after using some memory methods described in this book, he immediately showed his extraordinary memory ability, mainly in his fast learning speed and improved recall accuracy.

On June 20th, 2005, after 24 hours' uninterrupted recitation, Lv Chao recited Pi to the 67890th place after the decimal point, breaking the Guinness World Record held by Japanese friends for ten years. In this way, for the first time in history, the names of China people were left forever. After that, Lv Chao took an active part in the activities of promoting memory method and various public welfare education undertakings, and was awarded the honorary titles of torchbearer of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, "Young Commando of Shaanxi Province" and "Caring Person of Hope Project" successively.
Hu Yi: Associate Professor, Ph.D., School of Psychology and Cognitive Science, East China Normal University, Shanghai, majoring in expert psychology, memory psychology and educational psychology. In recent years, he devoted himself to studying the performance, essence and development of human supernormal memory, and his research results were published in authoritative journals of psychology at home and abroad. His main works are Professional Psychology and Educational Psychology.
