Shandong Cai Ying University Library was established in August 2002. At present, there are three libraries: the old library in the south campus, the new library in the south campus and the library in the north campus, with a total construction area of more than 20,000 square meters.

The library is divided into curator's office, editorial department, circulation department, reading department, information technology department and north campus branch. After more than ten years of rapid development, the collection of books has reached 6.5438+0.8 million (900,000 digital books); There are nearly 2,000 kinds of Chinese periodicals, 4,502 kinds of Tsinghua Tongfang CNKI Chinese periodical full-text database, and VIP full-text core Chinese periodicals contain more than 2000 kinds of Chinese periodicals/kloc-0, enjoying more than 20 million scientific and technological documents. There are five databases. There are nearly 70,000 bound volumes of periodicals. The library now has 7 large stacks, 3 periodical reading rooms, 2 electronic reading rooms (* * * equipped with 240 computers),1/kloc-0 large study rooms and reading rooms, and more than 665,438+000 reading seats. There is an audio-visual room and an academic activity room. In order to adapt to the rapid expansion of college development scale and the inevitable trend of university library development, the library has established a book management system and an automatic network system, which basically realizes management automation, service networking and resource digitization. In order to implement scientific and standardized management, the library has formulated a set of sound and feasible rules and regulations and strictly implemented them. Our library has initially built a digital library with rich literature resources, advanced facilities and standardized management.

In 2005, our library won the title of "National Vocational and Technical College CNKI Digital Library Demonstration Unit". On 20 10, the Provincial Education Department issued a document (Lu Jiao Gao Zi [2065438+00] No.21), and the library of Shandong Cai Ying University and Comrade Yao Zhaonv were awarded the honorary titles of "Advanced Collective in Library Management of Colleges and Universities in Shandong Province" and "Advanced Individual in Library of Shandong Province" respectively. The staff of the whole library will continue to innovate and make unremitting efforts to build our library into an advanced library of private higher vocational colleges and make greater contributions to the talent cultivation and sustainable development of the college.
