Based on the principle of paying equal attention to physical collection and virtual collection, paper collection and digital collection, the library carries out the construction of literature resources. Highlight the input of scientific and technological documents, foreign documents and electronic resources, and gradually form a document resource collection system focusing on electronic information, chemical biology, material science, logistics engineering and management, cities and environment.

By the end of 2006, there were 230,000 Chinese books, 60,000 foreign books, 3,262 Chinese periodicals, 360 foreign periodicals 1003, 360 newspapers, 24 Chinese databases, 72 foreign databases, 53 Chinese e-books175 foreign e-books and 9,097 foreign e-books in universities.
