Picture book activity of kindergarten class "Animals should never wear clothes"
The picture book "Animals Never Wear Clothes" depicts such an animal life scene that makes people laugh and cry, and can't help laughing. However, under the lively and funny appearance, there is real sadness. The following is the picture book activity "Animals Never Wear Clothes" organized by me in kindergarten. Welcome to reading.

Design intent

One day, like a masquerade, all the animals were forced to wear strange clothes. Now they can suffer-you see, the sheep is covered in long hair, but it has to put on such a thick and bloated sweater that it almost fainted from heatstroke; The mouse was kept under a hat decorated with flowers and fruits. For it, it is undoubtedly an eternal forest of terror; The elk's horn hooked on the sling, and no matter how hard it was tossed, it could not put on light green pants. ...

The picture book "Animals Never Wear Clothes" depicts such an animal life scene that makes people laugh and cry. I can't help laughing when I read it. However, under the hilarious appearance, there is real sadness: animals are forced to change their living habits, lifestyles and living environment, and even forced to wear human clothes. Through such a seemingly funny story, the author actually wants to tell us a truth-never go against the laws of nature, or it will be a disaster!

During the activity, I asked the children to discuss whether animals can wear clothes according to their own life experience, so as to fully appreciate the picture book, understand the real natural life of animals and enhance the children's feelings of "caring for animals".

moving target

1. Based on the experience of animal appearance characteristics and habits, we have a positive discussion on whether animals need to wear clothes, and are willing to express our own ideas.

2, know that animals are our good friends, sprout the feelings of caring for animals.

3. Experience the humor expressed in picture books and know that animals are born with the most perfect clothes.

Activities to be prepared

1, complete picture book PPT courseware;

2. Video about animal protective color;

3. Record form.

Activity process

1, dialogue import: our clothes

(1) Hello, children. I know I have to take classes with them. Today, the teacher specially wore a beautiful dress. Take a look. What kind of clothes am I wearing? (children communicate and tell in complete words: the teacher wore a dress today ...)

What do you think of me wearing this dress today? (Very energetic and beautiful. )

Now it's your turn to tell me what kind of clothes you are wearing today. (The child said that the teacher summed up the characteristics of clothes. )

(3) The clothes introduced by each of us are different. Why should we wear clothes?

You 1: Because it's cold, it's warm to put on clothes.

Teacher: Oh, I wear a lot of clothes to keep warm in winter. This is a function of clothes, so what other reasons are there?

Young man 2: Putting on clothes will make us look beautiful.

Teacher: By the way, clothes can also change us and make us beautiful.

Comment and analysis

Taking "clothes" as the topic not only cuts into the theme, but also is close to children's life experience, which not only plays a crucial role, but also paves the way for the next link of experience transfer.

2. Migration discussion: Are animals suitable for wearing clothes?

(1) Can animals wear clothes besides people?

You 1: You can wear clothes. Puppies are especially cute to wear.

Young 2: No clothes. Small animals feel uncomfortable when they wear clothes.

Baby 3: If a small animal is covered with thorns and it wears clothes, what about these thorns?

Young 4: Yes, small fish will be wet and heavy when they are in the water, so they can't swim.

(2) Your opinions are divided into two types. Then who is right? We invite some small animals to get to know each other first.

Show pictures of five animals (see right).

Look, these little animals are all dressed today. Appreciate what clothes they wear. Do you think these small animals are suitable for wearing clothes? Who doesn't look right?

(3) The teacher brought a record sheet and asked four people to complete it. Four children discuss it together. If they think it's appropriate, tick "√" on the form; if they think it's inappropriate, tick "×"; if they can't make up their minds, draw "O". But remember, whether you agree or disagree, give reasons. Children find friends, group, discuss and record. )

(4) Children communicate with each other in groups and give reasons. Teacher's master record.

Porcupine-× (inappropriate)

Reason:

You 1: Not suitable for wearing clothes. Look, its clothes have been punctured by thorns.

Young man 2: If you wear such rags, you will be laughed at.

Objections from other groups-none.

Snake-× (inappropriate)

Reason:

You 1: Snakes are not suitable for wearing clothes either, because their bodies are too thin and their pants are too big.

Young 2: How can a snake climb with clothes on? The scales on your body will not work.

Objections from other groups-none.

Pig x (inappropriate)

Reason:

Young 1: Haha, this dress is too dirty for him!

Young 2: Actually, pigs don't have to wear clothes, just wear a bib.

Young 3: Pigs are better without clothes. The place where it lives is so dirty that any clothes given to it will be dirty.

Objections from other groups-none.

Hen-O (controversial)

Reason:

Young 1: This hen looks beautiful in this dress.

Small 2: The hen can't wear this dress, because how can she lay eggs? Will it be crushed?

Young 3: I don't think so either, because I can't lay eggs.

Young man 4: I wish I could install a zipper on my pants. When laying eggs, unzip them and let them fall out.

Child 5: If the hen takes a shit, it will get this dress dirty, so don't wear it if you can.

Giraffe 1 √ (suitable)

Reason:

Young 1: Giraffes can wear clothes.

Cub 2: Its neck is very long, so it is surrounded by many ties to make its neck not afraid of the cold.

Opposition from other groups—

Young 1: Actually, you can wear a scarf instead of so many ties.

Young man 2: Why dress it up? It will run very fast and be eaten by a lion.

Teenager 3: I think so too. Animals had better not wear clothes.

Young man 4: Yes, it is dressed so brightly that wild animals can see it from a distance.

Comment and analysis

Aristotle said: Thinking begins with doubt and surprise. From the migration of human clothing to the question of whether animals can wear clothes, children actively participate in group discussions with questions. In the part of animal selection, because the original picture book contains a lot of content, I adopted the design idea of "points-total", and consciously selected a few animals that children are familiar with first to let children participate in the discussion. It not only gives children a topic to discuss with practical experience, but also stimulates children's interest, laying the foundation for the next link to fully appreciate picture books.

3, picture book appreciation: "Animals should never wear clothes"

(1) There is a person who strongly disapproves of animals wearing clothes. This person is Judy Barrett. Now, let's take a look at her story-"Animals should never wear clothes" and enjoy it together.

(Play PPT to lead children to fully appreciate the story. )

(2) After listening to the story, please tell me now why she opposes animals wearing clothes.

The living habits of animals will stain clothes; Bring trouble to the lives of animals, such as snakes and hens; No need to wear clothes at all; Just like the clothes people wear, it will be ridiculous. )

Comment and analysis

Interesting pictures spread out in the teacher's narration, and funny scenes made the children laugh their heads off. The author tells a profound truth in her humorous but firm tone: in any case, animals should never wear clothes, because animals have their own natural clothes-fur. "What is true and natural is the most beautiful." Imagine that if I presented the picture book completely at the beginning of the activity, the author's thoughts would completely shield the children's experience and thinking, and there would be no discussion in the group.

4. Longevity: I have really seen animals wear clothes.

(1) Teacher: So in real life, have you ever seen small animals wear clothes? Where have you seen it?

Young 1: Pets, dogs and kittens can wear clothes.

Teenager 2: Animals in the circus wear clothes, too.

(2) Teacher: Why do people dress them?

Young 1: Some small animals are afraid of cold in winter.

Young 2: Adults like puppies and kittens very much and treat them as their own treasures, so they put on clothes.

Small 3: Circus animals put on clothes to make the performance more beautiful.

Young 4: In fact, circus animals are also very poor, and they have to be beaten if they don't behave well.

Teacher: Yes, you see, in life, animals wear clothes only because people force them to look good, not because animals want to wear them themselves. We don't approve of this kind of behavior that goes against animal habits.
