Qian Baocheng, a famous expert in appreciation and appraisal in Beijing,1was born in September, 1942, and was descended from Zhenglanqi people in Qing Dynasty. Before retiring, I worked in sanhe city Jade Factory and was employed by several auction companies as appraisers. I have participated in many programs recorded by CCTV, China Education TV, Beijing TV and Changping TV about porcelain antique appraisal, and participated in many large-scale auctions of famous auction companies in Beijing. He has more than 50 years of identification research experience, applied the theories of "ophthalmology" and "microscopy" earlier, and has rich identification experience of "microscopy". He has a unique appraisal theory on porcelain and jade, and was hired as an appraisal expert by the Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee of China High-level Decision Association. Over the years, he has devoted himself to exploring new methods for identifying ancient ceramics and accumulated rich experience.
