Guo Moruo and the Reading Experience of the Library
Reading is both a hobby and a habit. Hobbies are largely in our nature, while habits are mostly acquired. Many people are naturally fond of books, and many people cultivate their love for books for various needs. After coming to Jingang, I found that many people often exchange their reading experiences in the company newspaper. I have been studying for many years, so I might as well express my long-term reading experience and methods and communicate with my colleagues.

Let's talk about the reading experience first. I think the motivation to do anything is out of my own values. Before doing something, I will consciously or subconsciously measure whether it can be done, and so will reading. Some people think that reading is a kind of learning, others think it is a kind of enjoyment, and there are different requirements for the quality of books for different purposes. Liu Xiang, an ancient writer, said that books are still medicine, which can cure fools. A person's head, like his body, is bound to feel uncomfortable occasionally, so it is necessary to prescribe the right medicine and which books to use to treat any problems with his head. Dong Fangshuo once proudly described himself as "studying for three winters and making full use of literature and history". In other words, I have exercised for three years, and my body is basically enough for my daily consumption. It can be seen that even a saint, even if he is not diligent, it is beneficial to open books and enrich his head first. Many people have had different metaphors about books, whether it's a ladder or food. Books play an indispensable role in promoting the progress of human wisdom. As an important ideological tool, books have played the greatest role in different dynasties, different classes and different people. This function is not only to cultivate people's spirit, but also to guide people's practical activities. When talking about his reading experience, Li Ao said that books are not for reading, but for reference, so as to realize the greatest value of books. Reading is not to complete a certain work index, but to improve one's work guidance level, otherwise even if there is a library hidden in one's head, I'm afraid it won't play much role.

After reading a book, you must use it to reflect the value of reading. If the books you read can't be signposts to guide your words and deeds, then even if you read more books, the effect is not great. Some people may ask, how to turn book knowledge into their daily necessities? If only I could put a converter in my head. I think the coordination of words and ideas is a very important transit point. Thinking is the foundation, reading is the form, reading is an act of accumulating thoughts, and then this behavior is manifested in words and deeds. Through accumulated practice, individuals will naturally enhance their values, outlook on life and world outlook to a great extent. To read a book, we must first distinguish whether it is a good book or not. It is better to believe in books than to have no books, but it is better not to read if you don't believe in books. Many people have their own outlook on life, but it is probably because of the lack of personal knowledge depth, knowledge breadth and summary width that the outlook on life is messy and unsystematic. To establish one's own ideological system, we must learn from others' strengths, take its essence and discard its dross through the running-in of ideas and practical attempts, so as to achieve a comprehensive and systematic theoretical basis and finally achieve a high degree of unity between thought and practice.

From ancient times to the present, people with great achievements have never left their books, and people with great courage are always eloquent, which are accumulated through long-term reading. Guo Moruo said, "Reading is not in the middle of the night, and work is afraid of exposure to ten cold." Persistence is the key to reading, and perseverance is the key. This is a very important reading attitude, but reading must be done properly in order to get more in a limited time. Let me talk about my own experience in reading methods.

First, don't pick books when reading. Just as you should not be picky about food if you want to balance your body's nutrition, a picky eater must look like a vegetable-even if he never eats green vegetables. It is beneficial for the ancients to open books, which proves that every book must have its nutritional value. If we get a book and throw it away without even looking at the catalogue, we are likely to waste a good book. But when you go to the library and see books all around you, you can't read them all, so you should pay attention to the speed first. An important trick of reading is to read ten lines at a glance or twenty lines at two eyes. As soon as the book is opened, it is necessary to quickly find the important parts and grasp the key words. Except for a few writers, most of them are actually summarizing or conveying a word that everyone is familiar with, and then describing it in large paragraphs, in order to set off that keyword, and then coming back in a big circle. What is done well is the stream of consciousness, and what is not done well is to cheat the manuscript fee. Secondly, choosing books requires judgment and wisdom. The first impression a book gives people is whether the book is well bound, who the author is, whether he knows him, what the author's value position has always been, and so on. These selective judgments can also affect whether a book can bring some benefits to itself. If you spend too much time studying people who have great conflicts with your own values, and the author is a super mediocre person, there is no need to continue reading in depth. I used to like going to the library on weekends. Every time I go to the library, I first put ten books on the table, and then I quickly read 30 pages of each book. After 30 pages, if I still can't see the feeling, I will shoot the book and put it back. If I think this book is good after 30 pages, I will borrow it and spend a week or two studying it carefully. I think, in this way, I can read more widely and have wider knowledge. Su Shi said that he knows all the words in the world and has read all the books in the world. In fact, he doesn't have much time to read all the books in the world, but he certainly reads more books than the average person. Except for many mediocre books, he has been eliminated, and he is studying hard for the rest of the good books. I prefer what Dong Fangshuo said, "Three winters of literature and history are enough". It takes me three years to find a good book and study it carefully, which is enough for me to use for a long time.

The second is about the value judgment of books. I have a bad habit since I was a child, that is, I read the book seriously as soon as I get it, and then there will be many problems. But in the second time, I will not look for answers from books to answer my own questions, but will try my best to find my own answers to doubt the original point of view, so I always read books with the attitude of "conforming but not obeying". Conformity refers to conforming to the author's macro writing structure and thinking, while non-conformity refers to not agreeing with the author's micro views one by one. Everyone has his own position, his own knowledge level and his own life circle. Not all authors can go to Wan Li Road to deeply understand every sentence in their works. He can write about zhanghua, but he may stay indoors every day and never go deep into the masses. Even his own writing ideas have not been actually operated, and their works have been read by many people. Since everyone's life experience is different, there is no need to use some internal analysis to understand the same sentence. Therefore, I say that reading should pay attention to "conformity but not conformity", think in reading, find out your own thoughts, and don't trust books. In this way, we can not only recognize the value of books, but also cultivate our own value judgment standards.

Third, reading more does not mean reading more. Reading more refers to the number of books. Some people are hungry when reading, and they read quickly. The number of books is overwhelming. It is certainly good to do so, but in our present society, most of the time is spent on the work that keeps us running around, and there is almost no energy to read so many books. Therefore, what I emphasize here is "reading more". Reading more refers to more time and times. For the same book, the same book, read more times, not how many books to read. There are all kinds of books on the market now, but if you read them carefully, you will find many books that we can sit and read patiently, and then you can give them to your children to play in the origami plane. It's really hard to find a good book that you can read for a long time, but if you find a book worth reading many times, congratulations, and I advise you to take that lovely book with you. If you have time, open some pages. It is futile for you to spend too much time looking for those newly published books. Just look at those books online and buy them if they are really good, but if there are no other better books, keep them with you. I emphasize that the purpose of reading more books is to keep yourself from leaving the words, even if it is advertising paper or newspaper, people should always contact the words in order to have in-depth dialogue with the soul. Without words, it is easy to live a half-dead life like a walking corpse.

Is this ok? hope this helps
