Jiading, which belongs to Shanghai and is located in the northwest of Shanghai, is the location of Shanghai International Automobile City under construction. Its center is located at east longitude12126' and north latitude 3139'.

Bordering Baoshan and Putuo District in the east; West of Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province; South of Wusong River, facing Minhang, Changning and Qingpu; Liuhe is adjacent to the north, Taicang City, Jiangsu Province. The total area is 463. 16 square kilometers, including cultivated land area 10994 hectares.
