Qiushi Academy, the predecessor of Zhejiang University, is the origin of the century-old Qiushi culture of Zhejiang University. In order to better remember the history of Qiushi Academy and inherit the spirit of Qiushi Academy, the cultural element complex of Qiushi Academy was officially started on September 25th, 2005+2065438.

The landmark building in the west area of Zijin Port-the copper gate building of Qiushi College donated by the public was completed.
