Based on this pursuit, in the long-term development of Feng Shui theory and practice, we have accumulated rich practical experience, and absorbed and integrated many wisdom from various fields such as science, philosophy, aesthetics, ethics, religion and folklore through theoretical thinking, and finally formed a unique theoretical system with rich connotation, comprehensive content and strong system-modern Feng Shui. In summary, there are ten principles.
First, the overall system principle
As a complete science, holistic system theory came into being in this century. As a simple method, the sages of China began to use it very early. Geomantic omen theory regards the environment as a whole system, taking people as the center, including everything in the world. Every subsystem in the environment is an interrelated, mutually restrictive, interdependent and antagonistic factor. The function of geomantic omen is to grasp and coordinate the relationship between various systems, optimize the structure and seek the best combination.
Feng Shui pays full attention to the integrity of the environment. The Yellow Emperor's House Classic advocates "taking emotion as the body, spring as the blood, land as the skin, vegetation as the hair, house as the clothes, and portal as the crown belt". If so, it is a matter of elegance and luck. " In the Qing Dynasty, Yao Yanluan emphasized the overall functionality in the books Integration of Yangzhai and Single Crystal Mouth, and thought that "Yangzhai must choose the terrain, and the water behind the mountain is called people's heart, the mountain bone is long and beautiful, the water must be surrounded, the hall is wide and the mouth is rich. The two sides are barrier-free and prosperous. "
The general principle is the general principle of geomantic omen, and all other principles are subordinate to the general principle. It is the basic point of modern geomantic omen to deal with the relationship between man and environment with the overall principle.
Second, the principle of local control
According to local conditions, that is, according to the objectivity of the environment, adopt a lifestyle suitable for nature. The Book of Changes and Dazhuang Gua put forward: "Stop at the shape". In the pre-Qin period, Jiang Taigong advocated adjusting measures to local conditions. Historical Records Biography records: "King Taigong was sealed in the camp, and the land was exhausted and there were few people. Taigong advised him to be a woman, with great skills and good fishing."
China has a vast territory, very different climate, different soil quality and different architectural forms. When there is little rain in the northwest, people live in caves. The cave faces south, with simple construction, no land occupation, material saving, fire prevention and cold protection, warm in winter and cool in summer, people can live longer and chickens can lay more eggs. The southwest is wet and rainy, and there are many insects and beasts, so people live in dry-film bamboo buildings. "Biography of Nan Man in the Old Tang Dynasty" said: "Mountain poisoned grass, louse snake, people live next to each other, climb stairs,no. Gan Lan." There are empty or livestock downstairs, and people live upstairs. Bamboo buildings are ventilated, cool and moisture-proof, and most of them are built by mountains and rivers. In addition, herdsmen on the grassland use yurts as their houses, which is convenient for them to move with the water plants. People in the mountainous areas of Guizhou and Dali built houses with stones, and these architectural forms were founded according to the specific local conditions at that time.
Many existing buildings in China are models adapted to local conditions. Wudang Mountain in Hubei Province is a Taoist scenic spot. Judy of Ming Taizu sent 300,000 people to the mountain to repair the temple, and ordered that the mountain should not be demolished for reconstruction. Only walls and halls can be built according to the terrain.
China is a pragmatic country, and adapting measures to local conditions is the embodiment of pragmatic thinking. According to the actual situation, take practical and effective methods to make people and buildings conform to nature, return to nature, return to simplicity, and integrate heaven and man. This is the true meaning of Feng Shui.
Third, the principle of relying on mountains and rivers.
Relying on mountains and rivers is one of the most basic principles of geomantic omen. Mountains are the skeleton of the earth, and water is the source of all life. Without water, people can't live. Almost all the primitive tribes discovered by archaeology were on the riverside platform, which was suitable for the economy of hunting, fishing and picking at that time.
There are two situations depending on the mountain. One kind is "adobe house", which is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with an Austrian gap, the south is open, and the house is hidden among thousands of trees. Zhangguying Village, Wei Township, Yueyang County, Hunan Province is such a terrain. The 500-mile shogunate mountain stretches here, with three peaks protruding to the northeast and west, such as three large petals forming a lotus. During the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty, Zhang settled here. Over the past 500 years, there have been more than 600 families with more than 3,000 people. More than 800 families in the village colluded with each other, and men, women and children lived a peaceful and peaceful life.
Another form of living by the mountain is "Fangbao Mountain", that is, a piece of houses covers the hillside, from the foot of the mountain to the mountainside. Wharf towns along the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River are all like this, combing the hillside with their backs and climbing the stairs. Wuhan University, with a history of nearly 100 years, was built at the foot of the lush Luojia Mountain. Designers fully consider the specific geomantic omen, and the student dormitory is attached to the hillside, like a winding city wall, with a door-shaped entrance and exit. On the surface platform, the central hole is the city gate hole, the middle is the library, and the two sides are the teaching buildings. Master-slave sequence, strict symmetry. The school has a natural trend and a powerful castle, which shows the grandeur of institutions of higher learning.
Nanjing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, is adjacent to the Yangtze River and surrounded by mountains, which makes it look like a tiger sitting on a dragon plate. It is surrounded by Qinhuai River and Rocky Mountains along the river. From southwest to northeast, there are Stone Mountain, Maanshan Mountain and Shogun Mountain. There is Zhongshan in the east; There is Fu Guishan in the west; In the south, Egret Island and Changming Island form Jiajiang River. In the Ming Dynasty, Gao Qi praised, "Zhongshan is like a dragon. If you want to break the huge waves, you can ride the long wind. Jiangshan does not give in to each other, and it is better than the world. "
Fourth, the principle of observing the situation.
The Ten Books of Yangzhai in Qing Dynasty pointed out: "Mountains and rivers should be the masters of human habitation, with the largest source and the most important to man-made disasters." Geomantic omen attaches importance to mountain topography and puts the small environment in the investigation of the big environment.
In the geographical situation of China, there is a large zonal structure every 8 degrees or so, such as the zonal structure of Zaoyinshan Mountain in Tianshan Mountain; The zonal structure of Kunlun Mountain, Jujube Tree and Qinling Mountains. "Kao Gong Ji" said, "The trend of the world, there must be a river between two mountains. There must be a road above Dachuan. " Gong Yu divided the mountains of China into four columns. Feng Shui calls the rolling mountains Long Mai. Long Mai originates from Kunlun Mountain in the northwest, and three Long Mai extend to the southeast. Bellon entered Shaanxi from Yinshan Mountain and Helan Mountain, starting from Taiyuan and ending at crossing the sea. Zhonglong entered the customs from Minshan and arrived at Taishan Sea. Nanlong entered the sea from Yunnan-Guizhou and Hunan to Fujian and Zhejiang. Every big Long Mai has a dry dragon, a branch dragon, a real dragon, a fake dragon, a flying dragon, a hidden dragon and a flashing dragon. To investigate Feng Shui, we must first find out the context and conform to the trend of Long Mai.
Long Mai's shape is different from its potential. Thousands of feet is the potential, the potential is the vision, and the shape is the close shot. Potential is the worship of form, and form is the product of potential. The potential is tangible, the tangible is knowable, the potential is outside, and the shape is inside. It looks like a wall and a balcony. The potential is a set of ups and downs, shaped like an isolated mountain. It is difficult to recognize the situation, but it is easy to observe the shape. The situation is cause and effect. If it is Ma Benteng, if it is flowing, I want it to be big and strong, different but specialized and smooth. Modeling should be thick, gas storage, gas storage.
It is best to have Chaoan Mountain at the assembly point. The mountain facing the mountain is similar to the mountain facing the arch, just like the courtiers surrounding the monarch. The mountains in Chaoan can keep out the wind, which is very interesting. For example, "Zhu Lei" talks about the macro-environmental cloud of the capital: "The Du Ji Mountains come from the clouds, surrounded by the Yellow River in front, with Mount Tai as the dragon on the left, Huashan as the tiger on the right, and the highest is the precedent. Huainan mountain range is the second case, and Wuling in the south of the Yangtze River is the third case. Therefore, there is no place in ancient and modern China and abroad to build its capital than Hebei. It is said that there is no wind and there is water. " This is based on Beijing City and National Mountain.
Observing the micro-environment from the macro-environment, we can know the external constraints and influences on the micro-environment, such as water source, climate, products, geology and so on. The good or bad of any homestead is determined by the general environment, just like the pulse-taking of traditional Chinese medicine. You can know the general situation of your body from * * * thin string pulse, which is weak, tight, undulating and fast, because it is determined by the functional state of the cardiovascular system. Only when the situation is perfect can the homestead be perfect. Every time you build a city, a building and a factory, you must first test the mountain environment. Think big, start small, you must worry about it first, and then get rich.
Five, geological inspection principles
Geomantic omen thought is very particular about geology, even very picky, and thinks that geology determines people's physique. Modern science has proved that this is not an alarmist. The influence of geology on human body has at least the following four aspects:
First, the soil contains trace elements such as zinc, platinum, selenium and fluorine, which are radiated into the air under photosynthesis, directly affecting people's health. In the Ming Dynasty, in Ear Talk, it was said: "It is better to come to Yang to produce tin than to come to Yang. The local people said to the cloud: Anyone who produces tin is not suitable for reproduction will lead to poverty and migration." Shan Hai Jing, which was earlier than Ertan 1000 years ago, also recorded many relationships between geology and the body, especially the plants growing from specific geology, which have an impact on the body shape, physique and fertility of the human body.
Second, wet or smelly geology can lead to arthritis, rheumatic heart disease and skin diseases. Wet and corrupt land is the natural culture base of bacteria and the root of various diseases, which is not suitable for building houses.
The third is the influence of the earth's magnetic field. The earth is a planet surrounded by a magnetic field. People can't feel its existence, but it always acts on people. Strong magnetic field can cure diseases, hurt people and even cause dizziness, lethargy or neurasthenia. China's ancestors knew about magnetic fields long ago. Counting the land, Guan said, "There are magnets on the top and copper and gold on the bottom." With Sina in the Warring States Period, the compass was widely used in the Song Dynasty, which was a scientific application of geomagnetism. Feng shui thought advocates conforming to geomagnetic orientation. Yang Junsong pointed out in the "Twelve Staff Method": "When you really rush, you can't stand evil spirits, and the church god will follow you from both sides." . Press the pulse, two or three feet away, and the staff in the dharma is the most refined. "That is to say, you have to avoid the strong geomagnetic field a little to get the auspicious time. Feng shui masters often say that boulders and sharp corners are bad for doors and windows. In fact, they are worried that the strong magnetism of boulder radiation will interfere with residents in doors and windows.
The fourth is the influence of harmful waves. If there is an underground river 3 meters below the residential ground, or there is a double-deck river crossing, or there is a pothole, or there is a complex geological structure, it may radiate a long vibration wave or pollution radiation or particle flow, leading to headaches, dizziness, endocrine disorders and other symptoms.
Previous feng shui masters all knew the above four situations, but they didn't know why, so they couldn't explain them with scientific reasons. In practice, they consciously or unconsciously take evasive measures or mystify. Some feng shui masters, while on-the-spot investigation, grind with their hands, taste the soil with their mouths, and even dig wells to see the deep soil and water quality, and bend over to listen to the flow and sound of groundwater. These seemingly posturing are not unreasonable.
Six, the principle of water quality analysis
How to distinguish water quality? Guanzhen believes that soil quality determines water quality, and water quality is judged by color. The water is white and sweet, yellow and smelly, black and bitter. Boshan Pian, a classic of geomantic omen, advocates "seeking dragons to recognize qi, recognizing qi and tasting water". Its color is blue, it is sweet, its color is fragrant, and it is expensive. Its color is white, its ignorance is bright, its ignorance is warm, and it is expensive. Its color is light, pungent, strong and expensive. Bitter and sour, if it is steamed, it is not enough. "Beautiful Land" says on the cloud of good and evil of water: "Sweet taste is very delicious, which is called the fountain of happiness and grows in Long Mai. Spring is not full, and autumn is not dry. Better find a good place here. "
Water in different areas contains different trace elements and chemicals, some of which can cause diseases and some can cure diseases. There is a mountain spring at the foot of Chengtian Elephant Trunk Mountain in Taishun, Zhejiang. The spring keeps steaming all year round. When the local people are sick, they will soak in the spring water, which is more effective than taking medicine. After inspection, it is found that the spring water contains a lot of radioactive element nitrogen. According to Shan Hai Jing ·Xi· Shan Jing, there is irrigation water beside Shishu Mountain. "There is a flow in it, so that cattle and horses can draw without disease."
There is a "Tuque Spring" in Tengchong County, Yunnan Province, which is crystal clear but lifeless. Ducks and birds will die in spring. According to the investigation of scientists, spring water contains a lot of cyanic acid and hydrogen chloride, which are highly toxic substances that kill living things. In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it is described that Shu soldiers went deep into the wild land and drank poison springs by mistake, causing heavy casualties, which may be related to this poison spring. It is not suitable to build a village near such a water source.
The vast majority of springs in China have development value. Jinan, Shandong Province is known as the Spring City, and there are 1590 mineral water spots in Fujian Province, ranking first among all provinces in China, including 865 medical drinking mineral water. There is an eye milk spring in Fenghuang Mountain, Guangxi, like fruit juice. Use it to make tea, and the tea will not change its taste for a week. At the foot of Jiu Feng Ridge in Fuxili Township, Yongfeng County, Jiangxi Province, there is a one-square-meter-long flavor spring, just like the bitterness and sweetness of draft beer. Because spring water is filtered by underground minerals, it often contains minerals such as sodium, calcium, magnesium and hydrophobic, so oral administration, washing and bathing are undoubtedly beneficial to health.
Feng shui theory advocates investigating the ins and outs of water, distinguishing water quality, mastering water flow and optimizing water environment. This principle deserves further study and popularization.
Seven, sit north facing south principle
China is located in the northern hemisphere of the earth, in the east of Eurasia, and most of its territory is located in the north of the Tropic of Cancer (23 degrees 26 minutes north latitude). The sunshine comes from the south all the year round. A house facing south is easy to get light. Sunlight has many benefits for people: first, it can keep warm. In winter, the temperature in the south is higher than that in the north 1 to 2 degrees; The second is to participate in the synthesis of vitamin D in human body, and children who often bask in the sun can prevent rickets; Third, ultraviolet rays in the sun have bactericidal effect, especially on diseases transmitted through respiratory tract; Fourth, it can enhance human immune function.
Sitting facing south is not only for lighting, but also for shelter from the wind. The topography of China determines that its climate is monsoon. There is a Siberian cold current in winter and a Pacific cool wind in summer, all year round.
The wind is changeable. There are records of wind measurement in Oracle Bone Inscriptions. "Historical Records" says: "Evil winds live in the northwest, and October is also. It's also November when the vast desert winds live in the north. In the first month, the wind lived in the northeast. Fengzhu East is also in February. "
There is a difference between evil wind and yang wind. He Guangting said in Corrected Geography in the late Qing Dynasty: "Pingyang is not afraid of the wind, but there is a difference between Yin and Yang. It's just as well to call the warm wind and warm wind from east to south yang wind. The cold wind from west to north is called the evil wind, so it is advisable to stop it with the recent case, otherwise the wind will blow the bones and the main family will be defeated. " This is to avoid the northwest wind.
There are several ways to express the position in geomantic omen: First, take the five elements of wood as the east, fire as the south, gold as the west, water as the north and soil as the middle. Second, take gossip as the south, ridge as the north, earthquake as the east and exchange as the west. Third, take Party A and Party B as the east, Party D as the south, Geng Xin as the west and Gui Ren as the north. Take the son of the earthly branch as the north and the noon as the south. Fourth, there are black dragons in the east, white tigers in the west, suzaku in the south and Xuanwu in the north. Or: "Left Qinglong, right White Tiger, Former Suzaku, Later Xuanwu." Talking about the layout of "Acupoint Password Xing Junzhi": the temple is in the center, in front of the door, the side warehouse is behind, and the breeze, scenery and sales office meander to the left, with a dragon elephant. The first floor of "Mingyue" is independent southwest, and according to the words of Yin and Yang, it looks like a tiger house.
In a word, the principle of facing south is a correct understanding of natural phenomena, conforming to heaven, gaining the aura of mountains and rivers, being influenced by the brilliance of the sun and the moon, caring for the body, cultivating feelings and achieving outstanding people.
Eight, the principle of moderate center
Moderation means just right, impartial, neither too big nor too small, neither too high nor too low, as optimized as possible and close to perfection. Guan's geography refers to Meng: "Want it to be high but not dangerous, low but not empty, obvious but not revealing, quiet but not silent, strange but not strange, clever but not bad." The principle of moderate geomantic omen came into being as early as the pre-Qin period. The doctrine of the mean advocated by The Analects of Confucius is to choose the best position in order to conform to the right path. "Lu's Spring and Autumn Annals" pointed out: "A large room is cloudy, a high platform is sunny, and yin is awkward, while yang is uncomfortable." The balance between yin and yang is moderate
Geomantic omen theory advocates that mountains, streams and directions should be coordinated with caves, and the size of houses should also be coordinated. Many people are unlucky, and many people are unlucky. The small door is unlucky and the big door is unlucky. Wu Caiding, a Qing Dynasty man, pointed out in the Summary of Yang Zhai: "Every Yang Zhai must have a square foundation and neat shelves, which will shrink from east to west, which will definitely damage Ding Zhai."
Moderate means middle. Why didn't China choose Guangzhou, Shanghai, Kunming and Harbin? Because it's too far away. "Taiping Yulan" records: "The king's life establishes the country, and the capital must be in the middle, so the sum of the world is the system. According to the meaning of Yin and Yang, the four sides are unified and the world is ruled." Luoyang became the capital of the Nine Dynasties because it was among the best in the world. The differential rent price is determined according to the middle degree. Banks and shopping malls can only get the greatest benefits in downtown areas.
The principle of moderation also requires that the center should be highlighted, the layout should be neat, and additional facilities should be tightly around the axis. In a typical geomantic landscape, there is a central axis, which is parallel to the meridian of the earth and extends north and south. The northern end of the central axis is preferably a horizontal mountain range, forming a T-shaped combination, and the southern end is preferably a spacious hall (plain), with buildings and curved rivers on both sides of the central axis. Tombs in Ming and Qing dynasties and gardens in Qing dynasty were built according to this principle.
Nine, riding anger principle
According to geomantic theory, qi is the source of everything. Tai Chi means qi. You can have two devices in one breath and use three or five elements in your life. The breath of the earth, the breath of the water, the breath of the people, and the sense of breath. Everything is not allowed in the gas.
Due to the change of seasons and the change of the sun, the vitality and orientation change. In different months, the direction of anger and death is different. Anger is auspicious, death is fierce. People should take good care of themselves and manage them. "Guanzi Yan Shu" cloud: "If you are angry, you will be born; Without qi, you will die; If you live, you are born, and you are angry. " According to The Yellow Emperor's House Classic, the anger in the first month is in Zigui, ugly in February, cloudy in March, gross in April, Chen Bing in May, B C in June, Party in the afternoon of July, Kun Party in August, Shen Geng Party in September, Youxin Party in October, Xugan Party in November and December. The geomantic compass embodies the concept of angry orientation, and the geomantic style is very particular about this one.
How to distinguish anger? In the Ming Dynasty, Jiang Pingjie pointed out in Shui Long Jing that the key to distinguish anger is to look at the water. "Gas, the mother of water, water, gas. Qi goes with the rich water, the water stops, the mother and son are in pity, and the water and gas are born together. The husband overflows the ground, but the trace is water, and walking on the ground is invisible as qi. The combination of appearance and appearance is the wonderful use of nature. Therefore, the underground gas is inclined to things, that is, the water is either gone or coming. The dragon needs water to help, and there must be water in the air. " This explains the relationship between water and gas.
Liao Xiyongqing, another Feng Shui master in the Ming Dynasty, pointed out in the Book of Buried Sutra that anger should be identified by mountains and rivers. "Every mountain is covered with purple gas, and the smoke is floating, and the clouds are steaming and worrying. The skin withers at all times, the color is oily, the vegetation is lush, the flowing spring is sweet, the soil is greasy, and Shi Runming. If so, the gas side clock will stop. Clouds do not soar, colors are dim, collapse, rocks are dry, grass and wood carvings are zero, and water springs are dry. If this is the case, if the mountain is not cut, then the angry trip depends on others. " It can be seen that anger is the vitality of all things and the best state of ecology.
Feng Shui advocates building urban houses in busy places, which is called making gas by taking advantage of the situation. Only by being nourished by vitality can plants thrive and human beings live a long and healthy life. In the Song Dynasty, Huang Miaoying said in Boshan Pian: "If the gas is not harmonious, the mountain is not suitable for planting, and it is not suitable for planting; If the qi is not high, the mountains will move, and the turbidity will be tilted; Angry, intermittent pulse, unbearable; If you are angry, you can't stand on the rock. " Sticking is a point, determine the location.
According to the theory of geomantic omen, the door of a house is the air inlet. If there is road and water winding, it is air, which is convenient for communication and can obtain information and feed back information. If the gate is located on the side of the idle traffic jam, it is not angry. Getting angry is good for air circulation and people's health. In the house, bright and bright is good, and dark and bald is good. Only when you are angry can you be called a Quaker.
Ten, transform the principle of feng shui.
The purpose of understanding the world is to transform the world and serve oneself. There is a divination in the Book of Changes, which says, "The past is rare, and today is a letter. Civilization says that the tycoon is justified and his humiliation is dead. Heaven and earth have changed in four seasons, and the Tang and Wu revolutions depend on heaven and people. At the time of the revolution, the righteousness was great. " Reform is transformation. Only by transforming the environment can people create optimized living conditions.
There are many examples of transforming Feng Shui, and Dujiangyan in Sichuan is a successful example of transforming Feng Shui. The Minjiang River flooded and flooded fertile fields and houses. Once the Minjiang River is tamed, Dujiangyan will benefit mankind.
The city of Beijing is full of scenic spots that transform Feng Shui. The moat of the Forbidden City is a barrier dug artificially, and the river bank is built into Jingshan, which is the important town of Xuanwu. Beihai was a lake full of water in the Jin Dynasty, with soil as an island, white pagoda as the center and temples arranged in the mountains. Yuanmingyuan has more than 100 scenic spots, which can be called "the garden of ten thousand gardens".
Rural construction in China attaches great importance to the transformation of geomantic omen. If we make great efforts to rummage through the epitaph, village genealogy and genealogy left over from history, the first volume of each book is about geographical geomantic omen. If we sum it up carefully, we will certainly find many records of transforming geomantic omen. At present, many open cities such as Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Guangzhou, Shantou, Shanghai and Beijing. , carried out a lot of geomantic transformation work, such as moving mountains and filling the sea, building bridges and paving roads, depreciating and building new ones, and achieved good results.
The task of feng shui scholars is to provide some useful suggestions to relevant people, so as to make the feng shui pattern in cities and villages more reasonable and more conducive to people's health, longevity and economic development.
Conventional China's numerology emphasizes the coexistence of water, fire and soil in Jin Mu. What is missing must be filled, and what is gram must be changed. In addition to starting with the name, you can also use plants to change your feng shui, so that everything will be fine in the Year of the Horse.
Gardening geomantic omen is only one of the few geomantic omen, but using simple plants can change geomantic omen and beautify the home environment. The so-called gardening geomantic omen is simply to divide plants into five categories: gold, wood, water, fire and earth, and plant suitable plants according to the home environment and personal geomantic omen.
Gold: It belongs to the Huanghua family, and must be matched with metal flowerpots and accessories, among which Fortune Tree, Wanliangjin, Qian Qian Tree, Narcissus and Huang Ju are most recommended.
Wood: All green plants belong to it, and seed plants should be selected, which means "hair". For example, a pot in Jianguo Flower Market only needs 50 yuan's emerald potted plants and bamboo cypress (Japanese jasmine).
Water: hydroponic plants, including blue or transparent glass flowerpots, bamboo, evergreen and so on.
Fire: For plants that will blossom or bear fruit, it is very suitable to choose red flowers and floral devices, such as flamingos, Phalaenopsis and Impatiens.
Soil: For indoor shade-tolerant planting, it is advisable to use black flower devices or flower devices inlaid with precious stones, such as emeralds and cacti.
In the application of geomantic omen, plants are often regarded as evil spirits, so different plants are given different meanings.
Plants regarded as auspicious
Oranges "orange" and "auspicious" are homophonic, and potted oranges have become the decoration of people's families during the Spring Festival.
Reineckea carnea is small, green all year round, easy to grow in mud and water, symbolizing "good luck", also known as Cao Rui.
Toona sinensis is easy to grow and has a long life. The custom of touching Toona sinensis is prevalent in some places. On New Year's Eve, children should touch the Chinese Toona tree and turn around several times, praying to grow up quickly. In some places, on the morning of the first day of the first month, children read "Toona sinensis, Toona sinensis, you are king, you grow thick, I grow long".
Sophora japonica is considered as "Lu". The ancient imperial court planted three pagodas and nine thorns, and officials and doctors sat under them, facing the three pagodas, so that the world could plant pagodas in the courtyard.
Ganoderma lucidum has been regarded as an auspicious omen since ancient times. In auspicious pictures, Ganoderma lucidum is often held in the mouth of deer or crane as a birthday present.
The five petals of plum blossom are considered as five auspicious gods, so there is a picture of "Mei Kai Five Blessingg".
Plants considered to have the function of suppressing evil spirits.
Peach trees are said to be the essence of the five elements, which can create hundreds of ghosts, so there is a symbol of peach hanging on the door during the Chinese New Year.
Like peach trees, willow trees put wickers on their doorways to ward off evil spirits.
Pupu, the pu of wormwood leaves in Dragon Boat Festival, is hung by the door, or made of wormwood leaves into a "Ai Hu", which can play a role in expelling poison and evil spirits.
Because ginkgo trees bloom at night, people can't see them, and it is said that there are ghosts, so the artist's seal should be ginkgo wood carving;
The cypress is tall and straight, which is regarded as the length of a hundred trees. It can disperse energy and drive away evil spirits. There are many kinds of cypress trees beside the grave.
"Cornus officinalis" is often a stranger in a foreign land, and he misses his relatives twice every holiday. "I knew from a distance where my brother climbed the mountain, and there was one person missing from the dogwood. Why does Wang Wei want to "insert dogwood everywhere" in this poem? It turns out that in Feng Shui, Cornus officinalis is a kind of mascot, which can be worn when climbing on the Double Ninth Festival to avoid disasters.
Sapindus mukoraiensis is especially respected. This deciduous tree has white flowers in May and June, slightly larger than loquat, green and ripe yellow, with stones inside and strong stems like plants. The common name is Ghost Seeing Sorrow, and Buddhism calls it Bodhi, which is used to string rosaries, so it is "harmless".
One of the gourds, why use the "treasure gourd" to hold wine? It turns out that in Feng Shui, gourd is considered as a kind of plant that can ward off evil spirits, and the ancients often planted it in front of and behind the house. Modern physical experiments have proved that the gourd-shaped container can shield all kinds of interference from waves and radiation. Zhang used "Bao Hulu" to pour wine, which can not only exorcise evil spirits, but also preserve the taste of wine.
Plants considered unlucky
Eucalyptus, the "giant" among trees that can grow to 20 stories high, is afraid to be lost to young and middle-aged people. It is said that all adults will die. You have to hire an old man to plant this tree. Anyway, when the tree is big, the life span of the tree planter is almost the same.
Fengshui tree
In the south, some villages will keep a small piece of green trees nearby, mostly evergreen trees such as camphor, pine, cypress and Phoebe bournei. As tourists, never touch them. Because this is a Feng Shui tree, also known as Shuikou Tree, although it is only a small piece of lush forest, it is related to the Feng Shui lifeline of the village. The local people are afraid of destroying the Feng Shui of the village and dare not touch every grass and tree there.
The course of party history is conducive to our understanding of history. To study the history of the Party,
