The library of Northwest A&F University was formerly the Library of National Northwest Agricultural College, which was established in April 1935, and was renamed the Library of National Northwest Agricultural College in April/938. May 1949, renamed northwest agricultural college library; September, 1999, renamed Northwest A&F University Library; In July of 20001year, it integrated the literature resources of two universities and five research institutes, and became one of the largest literature information centers of agriculture, forestry and water science in China. The library was named by Mr. Guo Moruo, then Vice Chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC), President of China Academy of Sciences and a famous calligrapher.
