Origin characteristics

origin

What is common in the world is the "six-color camouflage suit". Modern camouflage clothes can also be changed into various patterns with the above basic colors according to different needs.

brief introduction

In the 1980s, the uniforms and raincoats of British troops in warm and hot areas were camouflage, which reflected the characteristics of multi-purpose service and reflected the development trend of international training uniforms.

U.S. Army: In order to improve the versatility of camouflage, a process of printing and dyeing multiple colors on both sides of the fabric was specially developed for its training clothes. On the one hand, there is a standard woodland pattern, and on the other hand, there is a three-color desert pattern. Also developed a special camouflage pattern for its chemical protective clothing.

China People's Liberation Army: Camouflage combat uniforms are divided into summer and winter (07 camouflage uniforms). The colors are woodland four-color camouflage patterns in summer and desert grassland colors in winter, which are common to the three armed forces. In the military parade of the 70th anniversary of the Anti-Japanese War held in September, 20 15, multi-terrain camouflage uniforms made their first public appearance.

Army of Taiwan Province Province, China: develop new field camouflage uniforms, reduce the proportion of man-made fibers, increase the cotton content to more than 60%, and make it difficult to catch fire and burn; In color, camouflage color is a mixture of black, brown, dark green and emerald green. After special treatment, the surface has the function of preventing infrared reconnaissance at night, and has the characteristics of beautiful style, comfortable wearing, reasonable structure, safety and practicality.

Japanese Self-Defense Force: Camouflage clothes are available in spring, summer and autumn. They are composed of thin thread, four-color camouflage and two colors, and are made of fabrics equal to the infrared radiation of plants in seasonal environment, which improves the protection against night monitoring such as infrared rays and ultraviolet rays, and increases the warmth, moisture permeability, water resistance and incombustibility. Camouflage clothes used in winter are covered with a white blouse made of a single-layer fabric with ultraviolet reflectivity equal to that of snow in autumn, and matched with kapok undershirts, sweaters and cotton-padded clothes to increase moisture absorption and warmth retention. Even in the climate of MINUS 30 degrees Celsius, camouflage clothing can also play a super-high performance of "waterproof and cold-proof" and can play a good role in avoiding water and wind.

source and course

origin

Camouflage uniforms were first used by the British army. 1864 65438+In February, British captain Harry Banat Ramstein organized an irregular army "British reconnaissance team" in Peshawar, Pakistan. When making uniforms for the reconnaissance team, Ramstein chose khaki uniforms in view of the characteristics of bare yellow land and heavy wind and sand, so as to disguise himself during reconnaissance. In later combat operations, this military uniform played a good camouflage effect. Originated from the camouflage clothing of Scottish bird hunters, the prototype of camouflage clothing can be traced back to the "Geely clothing" in Scotland. Originally a camouflage tool used by hunters, it is said that it was invented by the hunter Ghillie, and it is mainly used to hide in the jungle and paralyze birds for hunting. The original Geely clothing is a coat decorated with many ropes and cloth strips, which has a good hiding effect in the dense vegetation environment and is difficult for even alert birds to find.

develop

Geely clothing was popularized in World War II and renamed as "sniper clothing". Snipe is famous for its quick action and difficult hunting. People who are good at hunting this kind of bird are called snipers, and later they become proper terms for snipers.

1899, British troops invaded South Africa and launched a three-year "Ying Bu War" with local Dutch descendant Buboer. The Boers have fewer troops and the British have more. The strength comparison between the two sides is about 1: 5. However, the Boers found that the British army wore red uniforms, which were particularly eye-catching and easily exposed in the green of forests and prairies in South Africa. Inspired by this, the Boer people immediately changed their clothes and guns into grass green, which was easy to hide in the dense grass forest. The Boers often approached the British army unnoticed and suddenly launched an attack, which caught the British army off guard, but it was difficult for the British army to find a target if it wanted to fight. Although the British army won the war in the end, the casualties of the British army exceeded 90 thousand, far exceeding the casualties of the Boer army.

This war made European countries realize the importance of personnel camouflage in the modern battlefield, and changed bright military uniforms into green or yellow one after another to achieve the purpose of concealment. After the First World War, the emergence of various optical reconnaissance equipment made it difficult for soldiers wearing monochrome military uniforms to adapt to the multi-color background environment. 1929, Italy developed the world's earliest camouflage clothes, with four colors of brown, yellow, green and yellow-brown; 1943, Germany equipped some soldiers with tricolor camouflage uniforms, which were covered with three patches with irregular shapes. On the one hand, these patches will distort the outline of the human body; On the other hand, the color of some patches is similar to the background color, and some patches are obviously different from the background color, so as to segment the human body shape from the visual effect, thus achieving the effect of camouflage deformation.

German camouflage uniforms have achieved good results in actual combat. Later, the armies of various countries followed suit and studied and improved the color of camouflage and the shape of patches. After 1960' s, the newly developed camouflage clothing is made of synthetic chemical fiber, which is not only superior to the original cotton material in preventing visible light reconnaissance, but also has a certain camouflage effect of preventing infrared light reconnaissance because of mixing special chemicals with colored dyes, which makes the infrared light reflection ability of camouflage clothing roughly similar to the surrounding scenery.

Now camouflage is not only used in soldiers' uniforms and helmets, but also widely used in various military vehicles, cannons, and even aircraft and other military equipment.

function

Color action

The camouflage uniforms of China Army are one kind of combat uniforms, and the other is monochrome. The army is green, the navy is blue, the air force is green and blue, and the armed police is dark green.

There is no "combat uniform" in the official service department of our army, only "combat uniform". The quality of military camouflage uniforms installed in regular channels is very good, but the market is full of all kinds of imitations, forgeries and even military purchases, which is easy to cause misunderstanding.

Perhaps this is also the reason why some people think that there are "training clothes" with better quality than "training clothes". In addition, some counterfeit goods are misunderstood as formal clothes. As we all know, all kinds of "new" camouflage seen in TV series are not counted in military stores and sometimes even in military camps.

The camouflage uniforms officially installed by the China Army are as follows:

Jungle camouflage (general camouflage)-the most common. Green, brown, black and gray alternate with each other, which is used for army summer training uniforms;

Desert camouflage-yellow in color, used for army winter training uniforms;

Navy camouflage-blue, black, grass green and white, used in the Marine Corps;

Urban camouflage-black, blue, gray and white, used for airborne troops;

Camouflage in plateau desert-green, brown, black and other spots, is the latest style, used in Tibet and Xinjiang plateau troops.

The following two are not officially listed:

Aviation camouflage-blue, white, brown, etc. , used in the air force;

Desert camouflage-mainly khaki and white, the same as the "six sands" in the American Gulf War.

Clothing function

Camouflage is a kind of camouflage military uniform that uses color blocks to blend soldiers' bodies into the background color.

In ancient times, military uniforms often used eye-catching colors to make the army look bright and easy to identify, and red was used more. This will cover up the blood and reduce the panic of our soldiers.
