If you are afraid of watching horror movies, a recent discovery in Harvard University Library may give you goose bumps.

According to a report by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) on the 5th, scientists are convinced that the cover of a book in the library of Harvard University is made of human skin.

The book named Des destinees de l'ame is the work of19th century French novelist Arsene Usai (18 1896). In the mid-1880s, Usai gave this book to his friend Dr. Ludovic Blond. It is said that this doctor friend in Usai put a human skin cover on this book. The human skin came from an unclaimed woman with mental illness who died of "natural causes".

This book, which is said to describe "meditation on soul and life after death", has been collected in Houghton Library of Harvard University since 1930s, which specializes in collecting rare books. This book is also the only skin book discovered by Harvard University.
