In view of the above problems, this series has carefully designed a reading "scaffold" to comprehensively improve students' English core literacy.
1. Carefully design a reading guide before class to introduce the background knowledge related to the story and improve students' reading interest. Set up enlightening questions and activities skillfully before and after reading, mark new words on the page, guide students to understand what they read, express their inner feelings and inspire their feelings. By observing the illustrations in the book, drawing mind maps, discussing topics, setting up post-reading writing and other forms, children's thinking qualities such as predictive judgment, divergent innovation and logical reasoning are cultivated. Children are not only exposed to language, but also to the integration of language, cognition, thinking and culture.
