The Twenty-four History of Guangming Daily is an abridged version of the Twenty-four History.

Twenty-four histories are the general name of twenty-four official histories in ancient China, including Historical Records, Hanshu, Houhanshu, The History of the Three Kingdoms, The Book of Jin, The Book of Song, The Book of Nanqi, Liang Shu and the Book of Chen.

Because the Twenty-four History is rich and lengthy, in order to facilitate reading, an abridged version of the Twenty-four History of Guangming Daily was made. It is a full version, but its content has been cut and compressed to conform to the principle of easy understanding and conciseness.
