Although I have read both books, I still want to recommend other books, which were written by teacher Yu Hua. Here are three books, brother. On the seventh day, Wencheng.
1. Introduction to Brothers This book mainly tells the hardships experienced by Li Guangtou and Song Gang in the 1960s and 1970s and the early days of reform and opening up. The first half explains the extinction of human nature in the 1960s and 1970s, while the second half reflects the distortion and struggle of human nature in society in the early days of reform and opening up.
After reading it, I feel that I have spent a little time sorting out Yu Hua's Brothers recently, and I don't know how to comment after reading it. How to tell all the bitterness and bitterness of that era in a few words? In the mouth of a friend, I heard the lingering fear that that era brought to his grandparents. I think it's probably the blood on Song Fanping's face in the dream. I have been awake, surrounded by old memories and scenes. I don't know what day it is today, and I'm not sure if I'm still alive. In the process of reading the article, I saw Fan Song and Li Lan get married. Some people commented that "it was so happy at that time and so painful afterwards." That kind of beautiful and flowing feeling, I think it has great attraction both in that era and in our time. I think, there is a person to accompany me for a walk, a person to accompany me to buy food, a person to see my injury and pain, do not abandon, accompany me for a long time. However, I am alone, looking at my sad past and white future.
2. The Seventh Day mainly tells the story of an ordinary person who died seven days ago: a man named Yang Fei died, but his soul didn't seem to have gone far. He received a phone call, and people in the funeral home complained that he was cremated late, but it was Yang Fei himself who was about to be cremated ... He experienced a series of bizarre events on his way to the funeral home, as well as the love and hate of leaving his relatives and friends before he died. The hardships of life, the twists and turns of love, and the warmth of family ... make the living unable to find an exit and can only be reconciled and redeemed in the world after death.
Personally, I bought this book from a bookstore, but it gave me a great shock when I read it. The narrative of the whole book is relaxed and plain, absurdity and reality are intertwined, and it is dragged from the illusory world to the world in an instant. Teacher Yu Hua's spiritual world is really admirable, perhaps because the world is too realistic, and we need some hypnosis to escape from reality.
3. Introduction to Wencheng This book mainly includes Wencheng and Wencheng Supplement, one of which focuses on Lin Xiangfu and the other on Xiaomei. Lin Xiangfu, with a well-off family, a hundred acres of fertile land and exquisite carpentry skills, could have spent his life safely. Everything changed when I met Xiaomei. Xiaomei appeared for no reason, disappeared for no reason, and took away half of her property. Later, she came back pregnant, gave birth to a daughter and disappeared. Lin Xiangfu took his daughter Lin Baijia to the so-called Wencheng to find Xiaomei. Later, she found that there was no success. Finally, she settled in Xixi Town, found a foothold with the help of Chen Yongliang, and set up a wooden club. At present, her career is developing steadily. Unexpectedly, the situation was turbulent and bandits emerged one after another. Gu Yimin, president of the Chamber of Commerce, was robbed by bandits and demanded guns. Lin Xiang's greatest regret for Lin Xiangfu was that Xiaomei was not found in the end, although Xiaomei's cold body was beside Zhi and he was not there.
Personal evaluation took nearly 4-5 hours to read Wencheng, but it was not calm for a long time. This is Yu Hua's new work. The last time I saw Yu Hua's works was five years ago, when I was a junior, I saw Brothers and Xu Sanguan's Selling Blood for a Living …
I was stunned by its realistic style and tragic degree, and I finished reading it at once. I don't want to read novels for a long time, because novels are thick and seem to take a long time, but the thickest book I have ever read, except Ordinary World, is Brothers. I like Yu Hua's style and his stories.
The work "Wencheng" obviously contains profound meaning. I finished it in a hurry and can only talk about my feelings. Before reading this book, I didn't read its introduction. There was no spoiler when I read it.
Most of Yu Hua's books have such characteristics, and they are attracted when they are read, as if they have a mysterious power. Of course, Wencheng is no exception.
To sum up, I have actually read a lot of books of this type, but I actually like several books written by Mr. Yu Hua, especially Alive and Ordinary World. Teacher Yu Hua wrote in The New York Times's column that they can't afford genuine books, so they can only buy cheap pirated books. So I said in my speech at the university: If the huge problem of the poor is not solved, it is right for my book to be pirated. "As he wants to say, I have read books about his age. He knows that ordinary people read genuine books, which makes his books more popular.
