2. Wet painting: Much like China ink painting, it is also the most commonly used technique in watercolor painting. First, soak the watercolor paper in water. After the paper is soaked, it is laid flat on the drawing board for mounting. Use watercolor paint to adjust a little more water, and the color is lighter. When wet, draw a stroke on the paper, and use the mutual penetration of water and color to produce a moist and light pleasure. This method has no obvious strokes and is natural. Suitable for painting rain, fog and distant view, with unique effect. Wet painting, the pen should be big, the pen should be fast, and it should be done at one go.
3. Dry coating method: After dipping the pen in color, rotate the pen as dry as possible and hold the pen at a certain angle, so that the side of the pen touches the paper head and moves quickly, especially outside the edge of the color block, to draw the required rough effect. In this way, you can draw a change of tone in your painting, such as drawing a solid point in the darkest place. And bright colors can draw a rough feeling. This technology is suitable for tiny flashes of clouds, waves, water currents and waterfalls in the sky.
4. Knife scraping method: a method of "scraping" off with a knife if local highlights cannot be completely missed. Use thick watercolor paper and a common knife to make a 30-degree angle with the paper. It is best to quickly scrape a positive line with a knife. In addition to scraping highlights, this method can also be used to scrape twigs and thin lines. In addition, according to the needs of the picture, before painting, put the paper head in front of the light and scrape the positive line with a knife. Each knife mark is the same. Then use watercolor to color, use a pen with the right size, and lay it flat where the lines are scraped off, and two colors will appear immediately. The fine hairs on the surface of the paper head at the scraping place show regular precipitation patterns. This scraped line shows bark, building walls and so on, which is very effective. In addition, it is also suitable for rubbing the rubber on paper before painting, or rubbing it back and forth with fine sandpaper to make it fluffy, and then painting it with transparent color to make a large area of colorful sky and ground. However, secondary coloring should be avoided to avoid the phenomenon of gray and dirty.
5. Washing method: Watercolor washing method is very common. Such as strong light on the screen, due to improper color or excessive weight. It can be treated and corrected by washing with water. There are two methods: (1) wet cleaning, such as the wrinkles in the background of the picture, the reflection in the dark part of the object, the highlights of the face of the person and so on. When the picture is not dry, squeeze the water out of the cleaned pen and brush it out of the light. The effect is very good. But this can only be used for unimportant parts of the picture, because the washed parts are easy to be monotonous in color and soft in brushwork, and the scenery displayed is also easy to be paralyzed. This method can be used to highlight people's faces. (2) Dry cleaning is a special method to enhance the perfection of works after completion. For example, still life highlights, flowing waterfalls, petals as thin as cicadas and other parts that are considered inappropriate can be dry-cleaned. Methods: Dip a hard pen in clear water to gently and repeatedly clean the coated parts, and then apply a thin layer of color appropriately. You will get excellent grades.
6. Method of mixed use of watercolor and oil pastel: This is a new method of painting expression, and oil pastel is originally a kind of oil painting pigment. As an auxiliary pigment of watercolor painting, it works well with watercolor pigments. If you are painting a snow scene, first draw flying snow and ground snow with oil pastels, and then draw the light and shade of the sky and ground with watercolor pigments. Because oil pastels and watercolors don't blend, there will be little flying snow and snowflakes in the light and shade of the picture and the sky. Problems that were difficult to solve in the past are now solved, which is the outstanding advantage of oil pastels. In addition, ash can also be used with watercolor pigments. Through the application of these methods, we should sum up our experience, draw inferences from others and create more new technologies.
