Overview of Collection Resources in Linyi University Library
With a building area of 67,000 square meters, the library is a landmark building of the school and one of the largest libraries in China. The library is rich in books, complete in categories, ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign, and is the literature information center of the school. At present, it has 4 16.8 10000 books, 32 Chinese and foreign databases, more than 4,000 Chinese and foreign periodicals, 6,500 reading seats and more than 6,000 daily visits. The school invested nearly 1000 million yuan to build a modern central computer room, with exclusive bandwidth of 1 000 megabytes, 37 SEVER servers, 85 switches, digital storage capacity of 1.60t, 4 pairs of bidirectional optical fibers and full coverage of wired and wireless networks.

The local area network in the library adopts the most advanced information management system of Huiwen Library in China, and has built 1 1 subsystems such as interview, cataloging, reservation, borrowing, reading, entrusted borrowing, periodicals, statistics, inquiry, circulation management and system management. Using TPI information resources construction and management system, the electronic reading rooms in multi-campus are managed by "Campus Card" to realize the unified management of text, image, audio, video and other resources. Digital resources collection, processing, heterogeneous unified retrieval platform and intelligent digital reference system have begun to take shape.

Openness and cooperation are the themes of library development. Linyi University Library is a member of China Higher Education Document Guarantee System (CALIS), China Academic Humanities and Social Sciences Library (CASHL), National Science and Technology Library (NSTL) and Digital Resources Purchasing Alliance (DRAA). It has established good inter-library cooperative relations with the National Library, Shandong University Library and Guangzhou University Library, and realized resource sharing.

The library adheres to the goal of "openness, digitalization, multi-function and comprehensiveness", takes the construction of subject resources as the main line, takes the collection of red resources as the characteristics of the library, takes readers as the center, implements scientific management, continuously improves the quality of professional work and service level, meets the needs of readers to the maximum extent, and provides effective literature information guarantee for school teaching and scientific research.
