Wuzhou University Library was founded in 1985.

In 2003, the library of Wuzhou Education College merged with the library of Wuzhou Normal School. From June 5438 to October 2005 10, the main building of the north campus was moved into the new building at the top of the mountain. In 2006, Wuzhou Branch of Guangxi University was upgraded to Wuzhou College, and the library was renamed Wuzhou College Library.

The library of Wuzhou University, formerly known as the Library of Wuzhou Branch of Guangxi University (hereinafter referred to as the "Library"), was founded in 1985. In 2003, the library of Wuzhou Education College merged with the library of Wuzhou Normal School. From June 5438 to October 2005 10, the main building of the north campus was moved into the new building at the top of the mountain.

In 2006, Wuzhou Branch of Guangxi University was upgraded to Wuzhou College, and the library was renamed Wuzhou College Library. The library now consists of the main library in the north campus and the branch library in the west campus. The main library has a building area of 23 169 square meters, and the main building has six floors, each with a circular corridor 4-6 meters wide, which is unique. The west campus covers an area of 1500 square meters. The library has over 1000 reading seats and 220 electronic reading rooms.

Since August 2004, our library has replaced the "Shenzhen University Library Information Management Integrated System" (SULCMIS) as the computer management system for library work, and the editing, circulation and retrieval of the library are all managed by computers. Construction of CNKI China academic journals and mirror websites of e-books such as Wanfang, Weipu and Jintu; The network uses foreign language databases, such as Springer and EBSCO.
