Yang Xiongzhong, director of education in Baiyun District, said: The lifelong reading mechanism starts from primary school students, and the Baiyun District Education Bureau has issued a reading action plan. This year, all primary and secondary schools are required to carry out smart reading activities on campus and measure what students need to master in the process of reading growth through information technology. According to its own situation, the school uses various time periods such as before class, between classes, after school and at noon to read. Most schools have open book corners, which are set in corridors, aisles, stairs and other places. The form is very flexible, and the reading time every day is well guaranteed to be more than half an hour.
