Where is Xinzhou Jinwen College?
Xinzhou District has a long history, which can be traced back to Zhou Wuwang at the earliest. It has been more than 3,000 years since Cao Xia established Zhuzi. In Laojie Town in the east of Xinzhou District, there is a mountain village called Kongzihe Village. A mountain in the north of the village is called Fuzi Mountain; There is a river in the south of the village called Interest River. On the mountainside of Confucius and beside Jinwen River, there are several remaining ancient buildings, namely the famous Jinwen Academy in the history of Chu and Huang Dynasties, also known as Confucius Temple. It is the largest Confucius Temple and Academy in Hubei Province and a cultural relic protection unit in Hubei Province (2002). Jinwen Academy, about 60 kilometers away from downtown Wuhan, is one of the best preserved ancient academies in Wuhan and even Hubei Province.
