High-tech Zone is an important national strategy, and its full name is National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. Chongqing High-tech Zone includes: Zhiguan Park and Development Zone, and is endowed with many auras such as National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone, Pilot Free Trade Zone, National High-tech Zone and Xiyong Comprehensive Insurance Zone.

At present, Chongqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone has been an "upgraded version". Chongqing is one of the first national high-tech zones, which has been expanding since 199 1. After the development of Shiqiaopu and Jiro, it reached Jinfeng, Hangu and Yi Baishi, and finally extended to the western valley.
