Books about the Three Kingdoms
Shu should be called Han. When Liu Bei proclaimed himself emperor in Chengdu, the founding name was "Han". However, because of Xichuan, where the regime is located, it is called Shudi. Later generations called Shu Han, also known as Han Ji, to distinguish the former Han Dynasty (Western Han Dynasty) from the later Han Dynasty (Eastern Han Dynasty).
