Binjiang District, located on the south bank of Qiantang River, is under the jurisdiction of Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Originally belonging to Xiaoshan City, Zhejiang Province, it was established in June1996+February 12 by Xixing Town, Changhe Town and Puyan Town of Xiaoshan City.
