The library of Hebei Normal University 1996 was formed by merging the original library of Hebei Normal University, the library of Hebei Normal University, the library of Hebei Education College and the library of Hebei Vocational and Technical Teachers College. The earliest libraries of Shuntian Middle School in Beijing and Beiyang Women's Normal School in Tianjin have been developed for a century. In September of 20 13, all the books of the original east campus, west campus and temporary library of the new campus were moved to the library of the new campus, ending the management mode of one library and four districts since the joint school. With a total construction area of 45,000 square meters, nearly 5,000 reading seats and a total collection of more than 3 million books, the library is a comprehensive modern university library focusing on normal education.
