Xingtai University was originally a public comprehensive undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. Founded in Xuantong Yu Daqing in the second year (19 10), it was formerly known as Zhili No.4 Normal University and was upgraded to an undergraduate college in 2002. The school now has 19 colleges (departments) and 79 majors, covering nine disciplines, namely, literature, science, engineering, economics, law, management, history, teaching and art. The school is located in Xingtai City, Hebei Province, covering an area of 1000 mu, with a construction area of 450,000 square meters. It is an undergraduate and junior college student/klc. The school library has more than one million books, the total value of instruments and equipment is over 100 million yuan, and there are more than 2.2 million kinds of electronic books. The school's major in international economy and trade has been rated as a national professional construction point, a provincial-level talent training innovation highland and a provincial-level comprehensive professional reform pilot, and fine arts, international trade and accounting have been approved as provincial-level key development disciplines. Xingtai University is qualified to recruit foreign students. It is the training center of basic education teachers in southern Hebei Province and the standardized training center of tourism industry in Hebei Province.
