The new Zhengzhou Library (Civic Cultural Center) is located in Zhengdong New District of Zhengzhou City, covering an area of 76.3 mu, with a total construction area of 72,450 square meters and a planned total collection of 2.4 million books (pieces). Characteristics of library
Zhengzhou Library has more than 600,000 pieces of various collections, and through long-term unremitting efforts, it has gradually formed its own collection characteristics. Among the more than 50,000 ancient books in the collection, there are more than 1000 kinds of rare books, of which 1 17 kinds are listed in the Bibliography of Rare Books of Chinese Ancient Books. Yunfu Qunyu in the Yuan Dynasty, Yuncheng in the Ming Dynasty, Chunqiu Zhuan, Selected Works, Henan Tongzhi in the 17th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi, Henan Tongzhi in the Yongzheng period and Qi Lu Deng in Jiaqing are all rare books of China.
The manuscript of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Biography of the Jade Seal of the Three Kingdoms, has not been recorded in various bibliographies, and is the only well-preserved manuscript at home and abroad. The contents of the book are mostly different from the popular Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which has high academic reference value for studying the evolution, spread and development of the stories of the Three Kingdoms.
