Mo Yan, 1955 was born in Gaomi, Weifang, Shandong Province in February. He studied in his hometown primary school when he was a child, and later dropped out of school because of the Cultural Revolution and worked in the countryside for many years.

From 65438 to 0976, he joined the People's Liberation Army and served as monitor, chief of security department, librarian, teacher and officer.

198 1 year started his creative career. Up to now, there are novels such as Red Sorghum Family, Song of Garlic Moss in Heaven, and collections of short stories such as Transparent Carrots and Explosion. There are also five volumes of Mo Yan's collected works.
