Nanning Library was established in May 1977, located at No.6 Avenue of Stars in Nanning. Under the leadership and care of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Government and the Municipal Cultural Bureau, the new museum was completed and opened to the public on June 1998. The 6-storey building is a modern intelligent building integrating communication network, computer network and automatic fire alarm and monitoring, and provides a special channel for disabled readers. There are offices, editorial department, lending department, periodical department, information department, technology department, business counseling department, reader activity department, property management department and other departments. After the evaluation and grading of national public libraries in 2004, it was rated as a national "first-class library".
