The park is jointly planned and designed by Hassrll/WZMH of Canada and EDSA of the United States, with the theme of ecology and nature. The park is full of green grass, flowing water, rolling hills and trees. More than 40 kinds of trees, 30 kinds of shrubs, 20 kinds of flowers and 6 kinds of lawns are planted in the park. There are a number of cultural facilities such as youth activity centers and libraries in the park, creating a beautiful cultural and leisure environment for Songjiang people.
The park is dominated by plants, setting off the natural atmosphere and adding humanistic atmosphere with scattered corridors and sculptures. A number of cultural facilities, such as youth activity centers and libraries, distributed in the park are seamlessly integrated with the open central park, which adds a bit of cultural atmosphere and becomes more quiet and charming against the background of greening. In addition, the park also has a hydrophilic platform "fishbone bridge", a small green island and a large lawn, which is a good place for citizens to do morning exercises and take a nap. Whenever the morning mist rises or the sunset clouds cover it, the scenery here is more beautiful and makes people linger.
