I have always heard that European and American national libraries are rich in resources, so people seldom buy books and love to borrow them. So before coming to America, I urged my husband who went first to get a card in the small town library where he lived. It is free to apply for a card, as long as he has a certificate.

I googled the libraries near my home, but I didn't expect so many libraries. It is estimated that there are all kinds of people. Maybe there is a private library. I went to the second one, downtown.

The library is open from 9 am to 9 pm. It's so sweet to have such a long business hour. Parents can take their children to borrow books and read after work.

You don't need any certificates and security checks to get in and out of the library, that is to say, anyone can swagger in and enjoy all the resources inside, but you can't lend them out.

What resources does the library have?

All kinds of books, DVDs, CDs, sofas, tables and chairs, wifi, computers, children's computers and some toys.

The rule of renewal is that you can renew it for 20 days at a time, up to three times, and how many books or disks can you borrow on a card at most. A mother here told me that older children can't tell them, and they can borrow 100 at most, otherwise they may not be able to move back.

There are all kinds of animals on the bookshelf, which adds a lot of childlike interest. I think it is also convenient for children to remember the location of the bookshelf.

There are many details in the library that move me. This is a table in the children's section, which is covered with pictures of various animals. Even if a book is not borrowed, the child is willing to put it on the table to read.

For example, there is a wide chair in the picture below. As we all know, there are many fat people in the United States, and there are many kinds of chairs in the library, big and small, to meet the needs of different people as much as possible.

I'm worried that some people will have no time to choose books, so I chose some good books and tied them up and put them on the theme label at the gate of the library, so that people can borrow them directly and quickly in batches. This kind of recommendation is for adults and children, which makes me feel really sad that the library makes everyone read more books.

In the United States, I think public children's play and education do have many benefits. Many things are free or very cheap, which is enviable.

The library has two floors. There are non-fiction books and dvd resources for children and adults on the first floor. The second floor is mainly adult novel books.

There are free internet access areas and reading areas on both floors, and many people will come to the library to study or work with computers.

I also feel that the library resources in this town are too rich and I want to cry. Some friends complained to me that the library was too bad and there were too few books ... Of course, the places that those who complained used to go were new york and Boston. ...

The library is in the center of town, and there is a Little Square at the gate. There are also chairs of different sizes. After borrowing books, you can sit outside and eat and read comfortably. Many people will sit/lie on the floor.

Of course, this kind of library also has disadvantages. For a baby as big as jujube, it is actually good to read books repeatedly for a period of time, and the sentences inside can be roughly memorized. There are several sets of books I bought at home. I can let her read most of the sentences in each book after reading the first half, which is very good for accumulating vocabulary.

Moreover, the library is so rich in resources that it greedily borrows a bunch of good books every time it goes. Even if I can renew it, I can't read many books thoroughly. This is really the trouble of wealth!

Finally, I recommend a great picture book that I borrowed for the series "Jujube-Maisy". The painting style is lively and lovely, the story is simple, interesting and easy to understand, the picture and text are closely combined, and the sentences are short and pithy. Many books can accept the second half sentence, which is very suitable for children who are babbling and enlightening in English.
