History of running a school

In May, 1984, Qinhuangdao Normal School and Qinhuangdao Normal Education College continued their further studies, and the schools merged to form Qinhuangdao Education College. 1In June, 1998, with the approval of the Hebei Provincial Education Commission, the State Education Commission agreed to set up a normal college department, and in that year began to recruit ordinary full-time normal college students. In May 2000, Changli Normal School was merged into Qinhuangdao Education College.

On August 3, 2006, with the approval of the people's government of Hebei Province, Qinhuangdao Education College, which was originally affiliated to Qinhuangdao City, was formally merged into Hebei Normal University of Science and Technology and renamed as the Development Zone Campus of Hebei Normal University of Science and Technology. ?
