The library automation construction of Texas University began in August, 1998. 1998 introduces the document management integrated system (version 3. 1) developed by Dalian Bofeite Company, including book purchasing, cataloging, collection, circulation, continuous publication purchasing, continuous publication cataloging, administrative management, book collection decision, reader's garden, information retrieval, etc. 10 subsystem, and constructs a business management system. In 2000 1 month, it was upgraded to version 5. 1 month, and two subsystems of remote retrieval and reading management were added. In June, 2005, I upgraded to version 6.5 of Muse Literature Management Integration System. Each subsystem runs normally, which greatly improves the work efficiency.

The library of Dezhou University has built a trinity computer network of business management system, document management integration system WXGJXT, electronic reading room system DZYLXT and library homepage system TSGWEB, purchased a certain amount of CD-ROM materials, and made a CD-ROM management system attached with books. This paper introduces the full-text databases of China journals, China excellent master's dissertations, China excellent doctoral dissertations, China's dissertations, teaching reference e-books in colleges and universities, social science digital libraries, natural science digital libraries, literature digital libraries, Meixing foreign language digital libraries and foreign sci-tech periodical abstracts databases.

The electronic reading room was established in June 2000 and has 1 12 microcomputers. In September 2003, it was expanded to 88 microcomputers. In September 2005, the Information Technology Service Center of Texas University was built on the fifth floor of the third phase project, equipped with 600 microcomputers. At present, the library has 7 servers, 2 disk arrays (with a capacity of 4.6T), 1 touch inquiry machine, 1 electronic screen system, 1 business card printing system, 1 optical disk tower, laser printer, color inkjet printer and graphic scanner. The library homepage system has modules such as general introduction, reader service, reader's guide, bibliographic inquiry, electronic resources, online lectures, library announcements and so on. It has the functions of bibliographic inquiry, new book announcement, borrowing and returning inquiry, CD-ROM data retrieval in the library, full-text retrieval of online database and so on. There are disk arrays, optical disk towers, servers and other equipment running 24 hours a day. The construction of library automation system has made great achievements, but it needs to be further improved in the aspects of scientificity, standardization, standardization, networking and resource sharing.
