The library of Liaoning University has basic stacks, open-shelf stacks, retrieval hall, Liaoning University library, ancient books reading room, students' study room, teachers' reference room, newspaper reading room, Chinese periodical reading room, foreign periodical reading room, reference book reading room, electronic reading room, computer square and audio-visual room. Through the connection of CERNET, the networked management system with computer network as the core and the modernization of library services have been realized, and a systematic service system has been established in online cataloging, resource sharing, bibliographic management, literature borrowing, reading and playing. On this basis, the document digitization platform project of Liaoning University was established, which laid a solid foundation for creating a virtual, digital and modern library.

The library currently has 95 staff members. Among them, research librarian 1 person, associate professor 1 person, associate research librarian1person, and nearly 90% have college education or above. Under the leadership of the curator, the library has editorial department, literature lending department, automation department, information department, digitization group and office. It is the starting point and destination of all work for the library of Liaoning University to carry out the purpose of "taking readers as the center" and actively serve the teaching and scientific research work.
