This book comprehensively and systematically introduces and expounds philosophy from five aspects: what is philosophy, idealism, dualism and materialism, dialectical materialist epistemology, basic laws of materialist dialectics and categories of materialist dialectics.
This book has been reprinted since its publication. The thought of this book not only became the enlightenment for people to learn Marxist philosophy at that time, but also has its theoretical and practical significance to this day. This book adopts the most popular brushwork, the genre of daily dialogue, and combines special theories, so that the public readers can accept it without great effort.
