"Wukesong", a place name, is located in the west of Beijing's West Fourth Ring Road and belongs to Haidian District, Beijing. It used to be the tomb of Ying Shao, the magistrate of the Qing Dynasty. There are five ancient pine trees in the tomb, and the surrounding area is desolate, so the locals take this pine tree as a landmark and call this place "Wukesong". 1966, when the subway 1 line was built, the subway just passed under its roots, and soon the trees withered and died. Now there are Wukesong trees in the northwest entrance of Wukesong subway station, which is worthy of the name.
