Keywords: primary school mathematics teaching innovation ability training
Introduction: Children in primary school are still in the primary stage of life, and the thinking mode has not yet formed. They are willing to discover and try new things, and they are also willing to change some old patterns with their own ideas to make the development of things more in line with the laws of nature. In the process of learning, they can actively use what they have learned to find new problems, and dare to express different views on different problems. These are the external manifestations of innovative consciousness and the innate nature of children. Sadly, in our daily teaching, for one reason or another, we virtually obliterate children's nature, making them become people who can only learn mechanically under the baton of the college entrance examination. As a primary school math teacher, I feel very sad to witness all this, and I am determined to do my best to change this situation. Cultivate students' innovative thinking ability, starting from me.
First, be good at discovering innovative thinking and promoting and extending it.
Pupils are at the age of being curious about everything, and they often have their own unique perspectives on the understanding of problems. In classroom teaching, we should pay attention to students' thinking mode of seeking differences, and don't hold an exclusive attitude towards ideas different from teaching reference books and problem-solving ideas, so as to create a relaxed learning environment for students and let their thinking grow freely. Once, when I was studying the content of "cubes and cubes" in the sixth grade, I found that there were not books and stationery on a little boy's desk, but a lot of pieces of paper and cardboard cut into various shapes. I'm a little angry at his noisy desktop. After trying to calm myself down, I asked him what these things were for. He said that they were used to build various three-dimensional figures and showed me a cuboid, which instantly became a cube. In the face of this whimsical child, I feel a little embarrassed to think about my misunderstanding just now. As a result, the protagonist in the class became the little boy that day. He gave everyone a vivid math lesson with his own props. After the bell rang, the continuous applause of the whole class gave him the greatest encouragement. Since then, he has devoted himself more to mathematics study.
Second, to stimulate students' innovative thinking, pay attention to guidance
Cultivating students' innovative ability first requires teachers to have innovative spirit and innovative consciousness. Only when teachers realize the importance of innovation can they lead students to expand their territory in this field, and their innovative spirit can infect students.
1. Innovate the teaching situation and take the initiative to attack innovative thinking.
The new curriculum reform has been implemented for many years, but most teachers still can't change their ideas and turn around in the inherent mode of traditional teaching. They dare not give classes to students, and the teaching method is still lecture-style, and often they speak each class by themselves, for fear that not saying a word will lead to mistakes in the exam. How can such a school stimulate students' innovative consciousness? This is equivalent to strangulation. In my opinion, in order to reverse this situation, we must first start with innovative teaching situations. For example, when learning the lesson "Understanding liters and milliliters", the usual teaching method is to introduce the concepts first, then let students remember the conversion units between liters and milliliters, and then do a lot of exercises to consolidate them. When teaching this part of the content, I didn't play cards according to the conventional thinking, but brought some measuring tools with different ranges from home with my students, so that students can carry out the measurement operation. In this process, students can sum up the rules and draw conclusions themselves. The fourth-grade children have a certain mathematical foundation and are fully qualified for this job. I just showed the students the general steps of learning this lesson, got to know the range of different measuring tools-measurement-and drew a conclusion. In the process of free operation, students can actively use measuring tools with different ranges, and the unit conversion can be quickly understood and the correct conclusion can be drawn. At the same time, the students also showed great enthusiasm for this way of learning, and their thoughts were quite open.
2. Innovate the classroom form and give students free space.
Undoubtedly, no matter adults or children, thinking can only run freely in a relaxed environment. The classroom is not a place where children are bound, but a place where children can let go of their thoughts. Teachers should have the understanding that teachers and students are equal in class. There is no question that the teacher is responsible for speaking and the students are only responsible for listening. Students should be allowed to express different opinions and have the right to speak at any time, because the spark of innovation may be fleeting. Therefore, in the design of teaching plan, I created such a classroom model: (1) extracurricular preview. In this big information age, students have all kinds of preview methods, such as searching online and sharing information with classmates with extracurricular study groups. These are all good ideas that students come up with themselves. (2) Classroom communication. The first 15 minutes of each class is the time for students to exchange preview results. In this process, students with the same views can form temporary groups to sort out their knowledge and understanding of the whole class. The middle 15 minutes is the presentation time of each group, and each group recommends a representative to speak. (3) Teachers' summary: Teachers summarize students' views and understanding and get * * * knowledge. This process takes about 5- 10 minutes. All exercises are arranged after class and can be completed in any way-written, online training, etc. In this class, the teacher's guiding position is really highlighted and the class is returned to the students. More importantly, in this class, students' thinking ability, language expression ability, cooperation spirit and scientific inquiry spirit have been well exercised.
Third, combine home and school to consolidate the training results.
Students' innovative thinking often makes some parents think that they are ignorant and unruly. Today, students who don't turn over textbooks and exercises are regarded as heterogeneous, so there will be repression of students' innovative performance at home. At this point, teachers should communicate well with parents and keep such an attitude towards students' different thinking: grasp the direction, pay attention to guidance, participate in it but don't interfere too much. Parents should understand that students' innovative thinking is the basis of students' lifelong learning, the key to cultivating students' various cultural qualities, and the fundamental sign that a person is different from others. We should try our best to cultivate and develop this ability.
Conclusion: Rome was not built in a day, and the cultivation of any ability is not an overnight effort. This is a long-term and arduous task. What's more, different children have different innovative abilities, and it is impossible to achieve unified results. Only through the unremitting efforts of teachers, students and parents can we achieve better results. As teachers, what we have to do is to find the innovation sparks revealed by children in the classroom, guide and encourage them, so that students can maintain this ability without losing it, and create opportunities for students to show their talents in this area as much as possible, so that the sources of innovation are inexhaustible and the water of innovation is inexhaustible.
