Bi Tegora is a Samos (about 580-500 BC) who moved to the Greek colony in southern Italy in about 529 BC. Bi Tegora is not only an astronomer, mathematician and philosopher, but also a political activist. He opposes tyranny and is loyal to aristocratic parties. During his stay in clotho, he established a community, involving not only philosophy and mathematics, but also religion and politics. His political ideal is to ask his disciples to carry forward political morality, be virtuous, and safeguard the interests of the country (city-state). For this reason, Bitgora particularly emphasized the necessity of moral cultivation. His greatest contribution to political philosophy is embodied in his two maxims: "What is the wisest? -Number. " "What is the most beautiful? -Harmony. "
