Mathematics homework-free day
Starting from this week, our school will arrange no homework every Wednesday. Some people agree, others disagree. As far as primary school students are concerned, I am very much in favor. After all, there is no pressure to go to school.

Every teacher knows that children's grades are related to their study habits, but not necessarily to their study time. Let's talk about Anyang city around us. In the junior high school and senior high school in their city, there is no make-up lessons on weekends at all, but here, from top to bottom, from urban to rural ninth grade, it is basically a weekend day. However, we didn't see the low enrollment rate in the college entrance examination in Anyang, nor did we see the high enrollment rate here.

Just like a class, each child's attention is only ten minutes, and a class is forty minutes. You must design some relatively loose links. Math may need practice, and Chinese may have some reading and reciting. If you keep talking, most of what you do is useless. The same is true of children's homework. For a good student, he has understood that most of his homework is repetitive training, which is of little significance. Do you dare to guarantee the quality of underachievers and homework? There are several homework tutors in our class. They correct their homework every time, but they fail in every exam. Who can we talk to?

So what should we do? It's all the same without homework. I think teachers should improve the quality of classes. If the classroom is not really mastered by students, it is a waste of time to make mistakes, revise, revise and improve homework over and over again. Another phenomenon, I found that when a knowledge point, students should have mastered it. If the teacher can let the students master it once through the classroom, it is a realm. Through constant practice and error correction, students can master knowledge, which is another realm. Although the result is that all students have learned it, from the students' point of view, the first one will make students more and more energetic, and the second one is not as effective as the first one. In short, the intention and clever design of the classroom can replace many repetitive exercises.

The country has been advocating reducing the burden on teachers, and no homework day is a small measure to reduce the burden on teachers. But I thought about it, can you really reduce the burden by not doing homework? The answer is no, in fact, most teachers prefer to spend time with their students. After school, many teachers stay at school to help underachievers for free. As long as they put their time into education and teaching, their hearts will not be too tired. The teacher doesn't want to waste time on all kinds of meetings, so do i. There were four meetings yesterday, big and small, long and short. If they solve practical problems, they will solve them more or less. Whether it has anything to do with students, more or less, but the final feeling is "tired, not in love."

However, for the first time, the children are very happy. It seems that ordinary homework is really a kind of torture for them. I am a math teacher and don't like to assign more homework. Every time I see so much homework assigned by other math teachers, I don't understand. When I said there was no homework today, they were most worried about Chinese homework, because our Chinese teacher usually assigned a lot of homework, so students didn't like Chinese teachers very much.

Go to the classroom tomorrow and ask the children how they feel about not doing their homework! I also expect them to feel differently.
