Arithmetic and Algebra, written by Arab mathematician Alhuarazimi, is his representative work, which is also of great value in the history of mathematics. The pre-book system introduced decimal notation, which was not only popular in the Arab world, but also translated into Latin and spread in Europe. The latter book mainly discusses linear and quadratic equations in one variable and the corresponding four operations. These two books are still of high value, and have been translated into many languages and spread all over the world.
