The GRE exam consists of three parts:

The first part is analytical writing, which includes two tasks, namely, asking candidates to express their personal views on a question (question task) and analyzing an argument (argument task). The writing part has a perfect score of 6, and it is very good to reach 4.5 in general;

The second part is the vocabulary part. This part is very extensive, involving astronomy, geography, humanities, science, art, politics and history. The third part is the quantitative part. This part is all the basic problems in mathematics, including geometry, algebra, statistical diagram, intelligence test and so on. The main purpose is to test candidates' potential ability in basic mathematics, as well as their ability to understand, judge and reason mathematical problems. The difficulty and depth of the topic sometimes depend on the examinee's understanding of the description and explanation of the topic. The new GRE test takes about 3 hours and 45 minutes, plus the examinee's intermission time. * * * There are six parts: the analytical writing part, which contains two regular writing tasks. The first test is writing, and the rest may appear in any order.

There will be a 10 minute break after the third part, and there will be an interval of 1 minute between other parts. Two language parts. Two math parts. The part that is not included in the total score (Chinese or math, which may appear anywhere during the exam) and the part marked as research may replace the part that is not scored. The research section always appears at the end of the exam. The topics added to the research section are for the research work of ETS, and are not included in the total score of candidates. (commonly known as experimental questions)

The first thing to review is the official guide to the new GRE exam (OG). Teacher Yang Zijiang, a GRE teacher in New Oriental, reminds all candidates that the first necessary review preparation material for the new GRE test is the official guide to the new GRE test (OG). Students preparing for the new GRE exam should carefully do the official guide to the GRE exam 5- 10 times.

Followed by the most familiar "Little Red Book" series. If you have enough time to review and are worried that the words you just missed will appear in the exam, then recite the classic GRE vocabulary red book. Of course, if students hold the lofty idea that "one less is one" and are ready to kill G without forgetting to enjoy their leisure time, they can choose the legendary New Oriental teacher Chen Qi "Shu Qi's" Analysis of the New GRE Core Vocabulary Test Method ",which is the legendary" It will kill you 3,000 "on the Internet.

Generally speaking, GRE is much more difficult than TOEFL. Many candidates can't get the desired results after reviewing for a long time, so I suggest you go to New Oriental for an intensive class or intensive reading class, which will be much more efficient.
