Mathematical casting method
This is the problem of equal product deformation. Cuboid, cube and cylinder belong to "regular" shape, with height = volume/bottom area.

Watch the cone! Errors are easy to make in calculation. Its height is calculated by a cylinder, and the volume of a cone× 3 needs to be replaced by the volume of a cylinder.

Then divide by the bottom area and it will be high. therefore

5×5× 1.57=39.25 (square centimeter) This is the volume of a cuboid.

39.25 square centimeters is also an equal volume deformation of the cone.

39.25×3= 1 17.75 (square centimeter) conical cylinder

117.75 ÷ [3.14× (10 ÷ 2) 2] Find the height by cylinder: volume ÷ bottom area.

= 1.5 cm
