Brief introduction of stirling number
In combinatorial mathematics, Stirling number can refer to two kinds of numbers, the first Stirling number and the second Stirling number, both of which were put forward by james stirling, a mathematician in18th century. There are two kinds of Stirling numbers, the first and the second, which have been attracting the interest of many mathematicians since18th century, such as Euler, Cauchy, Seval and Gloria. Later, Niels Nielsen of the University of Copenhagen (1865-1931) put forward Stirlingschen Zahlen er ster Art[ the first kind of Stirling number] and Stirlingschen Zahlen zweiter Art[ the second kind of Stirling number], and named them for the first time. Because the Scottish mathematician J Stirling (1692- 1770) first discovered these numbers and explained their importance.
