1. Open the homework situation and move the real life scene to the homework.
The new curriculum standard clearly stipulates that mathematics is an indispensable foundation and tool for people's life, labor and further study. Students' learning should be divorced from boring pure mathematics, so I put the learning content into specific life situations in teaching, so that students can learn mathematics, solve problems and experience the close connection between mathematics and daily life in concrete and colorful life. Only in this way can we stimulate students' passion for innovation and challenge higher goals.
When designing the homework of Simple Statistics, the tenth volume of mathematics, I designed many life scenes, such as "physical examination", and carried out activities to let students be doctors to measure the height of students' physical examination and let statisticians get the average height of classes, so that students can deeply understand the simple statistical methods and learn how to find the average value.
Students in these open situations, students devote themselves wholeheartedly and think positively. Although the methods they use may not get the same results, in the actual process, students' practical ability has been improved and their innovative spirit has been cultivated.
2. Open the content of homework and let students leave their desks and walk out of the campus.
Tagore said: "There are some rivers with clear boundaries, which can limit the rivers." In the past, the homework assigned by teachers and students only needed a piece of paper and a pen, which can no longer meet the requirements of the times and students can no longer be confined to the classroom. I creatively design homework in teaching, so that students can walk into life and society by themselves in the process of homework, collect and sort out all kinds of needed information, and obtain information through their own practical activities in order to complete homework.
For example, after learning the knowledge of "Cuboid and Cube" in Book 10 of Mathematics, I asked the students to draw a three-dimensional picture for the classroom. Design suitable packaging methods for teachers.
(1) There are now 4 tapes. How many kinds of packaging are there? Which way to save wrapping paper? (Overlap ignored)
(2) If there are 8 tapes, which way to save wrapping paper? (Ignore overlap)
Let the students analyze and write an optimal design scheme by going home and practicing, and give the reasons.
This kind of "armchair strategist" homework will never get an answer. Only through our own practice and investigation can we get a true and accurate answer.
3. The form of open homework fully embodies the students' personality.
My design assignment is not limited to the traditional written form, but can be an oral and operational demonstration to show my creative achievements. Students can compete with each other or cooperate with each other after finishing their homework.
For example, after learning the knowledge of interest, I designed different subject assignments for different students: investigating the current bank interest situation and making special reports, helping parents to draw up savings plans, learning to fill in deposit certificates, calculating interest tax and so on.
Such a rich homework must be suitable for each student's homework content, and students will choose topics that suit their own specialties and personality to complete. The students' answers are rich and creative.
4. Open the answers to homework and let students become application innovators.
Problems in real life often exist in complex and incomplete real situations. Its solution not only requires students' ability to find and analyze problems, but also requires students' divergent thinking and innovative ability. Therefore, when designing homework, we should combine reality and challenges, design open homework with the aim of stimulating students' innovative thinking, and make students truly become innovators.
For example, after learning the "percentage application problem", you can design such a topic: if a family travels to a certain place, the travel agency's charging standard is: buy three full tickets, and the rest are half-price; B the charging standard of travel agency is: family tour is a group ticket, and the original price is 20% off. The original price of both travel agencies is 1000 yuan per person.
