Junior high school textbooks are mainly general textbooks published by People's Education Publishing House. Small subjects such as history and geography may be published by local publishing houses such as Chongqing Publishing House and Sichuan Publishing House, but not all schools are unified. High school textbooks are basically people's education edition. These textbooks can be bought in Chongqing Book City and Jie Fangbei. The first grade of junior high school and senior high school usually starts in September 1, and the second and third grades depend on the holiday tutoring.
