1, sequence
The sequence of human physical and mental development means that human physical and mental development is a continuous development process from low level to high level, from simple to complex, from quantitative change to qualitative change. What is from low to high? For example, we have just started to learn mathematical operations, starting with the simplest addition and subtraction, to multiplication and division, and then to four operations. From quantitative change to qualitative change, it shows that people's physical and mental development is not achieved overnight, but has gone through a long process of quantitative change accumulation and finally achieved a qualitative breakthrough.
When we observe carefully, it is not difficult to find that the definition of sequence is summarized by the expression "from …… to ……", which aims to show that human development is a directional dynamic process. And this change in direction is insurmountable and irreversible. It is precisely because of this order of human development that we educators should follow this order, that is, step by step.
Step 2: Stage
Personal development is a phased process. Individuals of different ages show different overall characteristics and main contradictions of physical and mental development, and face different development tasks. For example, we usually adopt some vivid teaching methods in primary school teaching, such as reading texts of different roles in Chinese class; In middle schools, more emphasis is placed on theoretical teaching. This kind of differential treatment is precisely because of the differences in physical and mental characteristics between primary school students and middle school students.
So the stage description is that the two stages A and B are different, a static description. Because students in different stages have different characteristics, differentiated teaching should be carried out according to their characteristics, that is, phased teaching.
