How to participate in the international Olympic mathematics competition? What is the standard?
Participants must be under the age of 20 at the time of the competition and cannot receive any higher education above middle school. So college students can't take part in the international Olympic mathematics competition.

Participation mode

1. Participate in the National League 5438+00 in the middle of June every year. If the results are among the best in the province, you can join the provincial team to participate in the "winter camp" (held in February and June of 5438, which is essentially a national mathematics competition, with the purpose of selecting talents for the national team);

2. The winter camp awarded gold, silver and bronze medals (the gold medal can be won by many people at the same time, which is equivalent to the first prize). All the gold medal players entered the national training team, participated in the training in March and April, were taught by the best competition teachers in the country, and continued to take exams. Finally, the members of the national team were comprehensively selected according to many tests. They will represent China in the International Mathematical Olympiad.

grade scale

7 points for each question, out of 42 points.

There are two days to correct the answer sheet after the game. Each question is evaluated and revised by the leaders and deputy leaders of various countries and the coordinator designated by the host country, and the final score is negotiated. The team leader tried to score points for the contestants from the coordinator. If they can't reach an agreement, they will submit it to the main review Committee for arbitration. Finally, the scores of gold, silver and copper were determined, and awards were given at the closing ceremony of the contest.

Extended data
